They say to check often when the last update was a week ago be fr. They half assed it and can’t admit it at all. Take responsibility and admit it was a bad rollout. Giving people items for the inconvenience of this whole mess yall created
I really wish they would. But I’ve been trying to get answers because I’m just as frustrated about the tutor issue and the 5x promo and no update. I personally have stopped spending. I will not spend another penny until my account is updated. Why? Because why would I go into a 5x promo and spend hundreds of dollars to get money, upgrade my acct and bump my tuts, to turn around and whenever I did finally get the update, get what? 20T of it back? I’m still losing money if I spend 100T and get a portion of it back. So I personally will not be spending this promo. I will use what dns I do have to solo a LITTLE for tut funds, but that’s all I’m doing. And that is ONLY because I have a relationship with some of my tuts and I don’t want them being taken, nor do they want taken.
The lack of communication from ATA is astonishing. Appoint someone to address our concerns about the tut market, PvP, the upcoming promo, the criteria for people who are getting selected for roll outs, how many more roll outs you intend on having and the exact dates and times they will drop for each group… Give us any form of an update on how you’re going to fix these issues. Telling us to “be patient” while stonewalling us is not the right move.

They don’t know or generally give a fuck when the updates actually release to existing players “To recap on the forum post, the update is already live for new players, and after spending some extra time working through technical issues and making sure everything is running smoothly, our next group is: early-to-mid game players. We've begun by rolling out the update to a small fraction of players in this group. And the remaining early-to-mid game players are currently planned to receive the update sometime in September. Any new progress on the wave's we'll be deploying the update to will be posted on the forum post or Discord announcements. As of right now, I don't have exact information on when that will be”

“the cash and account gains you make during ATA Day won't go to waste.” Not the point. The cash I gain at 10mcs is significantly lower than at 50mcs. Tuts are getting stolen left and right and the only way we can keep up is to get the refund and earn more during promo.
what a joke. so many people have expressed valid concerns and are asking genuine questions and your updates just chalk up to "wait around and oh well" on top of the refunds from the dormmates you should be calculating how much players would have made during promos they had a disadvantage during.
So after a week of silence and people asking you for an update, this is what we get? More vagueness on when we should have this update, no dates, times, schedule, nothing. Not only are we waiting until AFTER ATA day promo for the update… But you’re going to actively encourage us to spend the cash we make in game during promo at our CURRENT stats with the CURRENT dorm system? And then try to tell us it won’t be a waste when more experienced players know it will? When you know we would all be making more money and upgrading much faster on the new system? When those that have the update will get to upgrade significantly faster than they’re already getting to and there will be even more of a gap to bridge between us and them? And when we get our refund it won’t reflect any sort of cash we may have missed out on during promo solely because we were smaller and yall want to do this in extremely slow waves and wait a week plus at a time to communicate with us? Wait wasn’t this update meant to FIX the UNBALANCED dorm system? Because personally all I see is more unbalance happening between players with the update versus players without it because we are missing out on cash we could be getting during promo for upgrading and tuts.
Are you able to share the proposed timeline that was presumably presented to your management team? For example, by the second week of September, what percentage of players were originally expected to have moved from the old dorm to the new dorm? As a company that reportedly pays an average of $73,000 CAD per year per employee, I’d expect there to be proper planning, forecasting, and project milestones behind an update of this scale, especially to ensure that it doesn’t interfere with the existing roadmap for the year. Even something as simple as a progress bar showing the percentage of the old dorm transition that has been completed would go a long way. Players aren’t necessarily asking for everything to be finished immediately; we just want some visibility that the work is actually progressing according to a plan. Think of it like a company announcing a restructuring and telling employees that their salaries will be adjusted progressively. They initially say, “This will be done by September,” then later change it to “Actually, end of October.” At some point, employees are going to ask: Was there ever a proper timeline or forecast in the first place? That’s essentially where the frustration is coming from. Delays happen, but repeatedly pushing timelines without showing measurable progress makes it difficult for players to have confidence that the update is being managed properly.
Also, I am aware whatever we spend will go towards our refunds but what if we wanted to save that cash for tuts? That means those ppl would be missing out on fund cuz you guys can’t refund ppl for money they were saving from the old system and you certainly won’t give us refunds for what we missed out on during promo I imagine. So that’s where a lot of my own frustration is coming from here. Not having any clear indication on when we will have this and how those of us who choose not to spend the money we make during promo won’t get refunded for what we missed out on.
Honestly yall just suck. You're making the quality of life on this app worse every day. We can't have adult conversations. We can't keep our tutors because you gave them the update before the larger players. Best you can do is make the spinner look like a cheap slots game and the notifications in clubs smaller and give us a new lavender name color date that is STILL not purple. Thats periwinkle. Every update is another "we hear you, but we dont know what the hell we are doing" This is tiresome.
It's honestly so frustrating to voice concerns and basically get spit on in return and never get a clear, concise response to valid concerns time and time again. Since this update is a mess, no valuable information can be given regarding it, our concerns get brushed aside, the ones without the update miss out on the extra cash of upgraded stats on one of the bugged promos of the year, people are fighting for their lives trying to keep their tutors...I'll happily sit out this promo too. The way this game is going makes it really easy to get over the FOMO and not give a crap at all. Truly the only reason I'm still here is the attachment to my amazing clubbies. It sure isn't to keep getting screwed over by the apes.
Hi ATA/Marcel, Looks like you guys don’t seem to understand the dire situation of this update and the greatly unfair advantage you’ve provided to the people who already got the refunds from the update. Imagine two businesses competing in a sales event. One business gets a $100k refund early, reinvests it, and now has a much bigger operation that generates more revenue from every sale. The other business is still waiting for their refund, so they can’t make the same upgrades or generate the same revenue. Now both businesses are put into a limited-time promotion where the bigger operation earns more money. The first business gets to compound its advantage, while the second is effectively being punished for waiting. That’s what’s happening with the Dorm refund. The issue isn’t just getting the refund eventually — it’s the earning power lost while waiting. The bigger players who haven’t received their refund aren’t simply “waiting for their money.” They’re potentially losing income every day compared to players who already received theirs and upgraded. Will the refund you are going to provide include the potential loss due to the delay? Even if you bought an unbuilt property and chose to delay construction, you’d still expect compensation for every day of delay — because you’re losing the opportunity to use that property and earn from it. (Or covering the extended rent they need to continue due to nowhere else to stay) That’s the same issue here. Even if the refund eventually comes, players who are still waiting are losing the earning power they could have had during the delay, especially during a party promo where bigger stats generate more money.
The most important part Will the refund you are going to provide include the potential loss due to the delay? Those who got the update are already earning at least 2x more than they would without it. For bigger players they’ll lose out maybe 1.5x? Or less but they’re already earning a lot. So between the time when the first wave and the last wave receive update, how will you implement fairness? Else it will clearly look like yall prioritise and give them special rights and priorities. Please provide justification and clarification for the delay and preference of updating the early game players first. Silence from you guys is the loudest message, you guys just don’t care nor bother. My theory is that during the promo, smaller players actually have a higher earning potential from solo parties because they have to spend more money to generate the same amount of earnings that bigger players can achieve with much less effort.
