-—Darker "Help...me...!" I said in between coughs. "I can't. There's just no way to save you." said Tess, my other half. "Tess...!" I cried as blood began to run from my nose, ears, mouth, and eyes. "Please..." Tess began to cry. Just like last time. I thought. "Where's my dad? I don't know. The demon controlled him last night." I said. Tess picked m up and set me on the couch and ran into the bathroom to get a rag. When she got back she wiped my face even though there was no point because blood just kept coming. "Tess, is my hair orange?" I asked, seeing the freckles on my arms. "Yes..." she sobbed. "You're finally good. Forgive me. I was suck a ***** to you. I cut you." "No... Forgive me for making you kill everybody." I said. I could tell I was going to leave soon. I was weak. Oh so weak. "Tess..." "What?" she asked picking me up and cradling me like a baby. I was tiny like a baby. "I'll tell Joe to come back here. He should get to come back if he's completed his life mission." "Thank you..." she sobbed into my damp hair. I heard the familiar beat of a basket ball and I followed the sound. There was a boy shooting baskets in a court in the middle of a prairie. How odd. Thump, thump, swoosh. "Are you Joe?" I asked. The boy stopped and turned towards me. "Yes. And you are?" he asked. "I'm Darker. I'm a part of Tess that has die because you are not there for her." The boy dropped his basket ball and suddenly we were in a huge court room with ten angels. "What do you want Joe?" asked the middle one, annoyed at our presence. "I wish to accept my life mission, Kalona." Joe said putting his fit over his heart.
-—Joe "Joe Johnson, you're life mission is to save someone who is going to kill themselves. I'm your town. You leave a soon as possible." Said Kalona, the head angel. "Yes, sir." I said and grabbed the small, dead part of Tess by the hand and led her to my dorm. "Grab that backpack." I said pointing to the big backpack sitting on my couch. She grabbed it and handed it to me then went back to looking at all of my sketches and drawings of Tess. "You're very good." She said. "Oh... Um... Thanks." I said, my cheeks flaring. "You're Welcome." she said, wandering into the other room. "Hey. Come here. I'm done packing so I have to show you your dorm room now." I said grabbing her by the wrist. "Ouch!" she said, pulling away. "What?" I asked, studying her wrist. "What happened?" I asked, looking at the two cuts. One short and straight. The other long and ugly. "Nothing". She said, pulling away again. "Just show my my room."
-—Tess Gone. Gone again. There's nothing I can do about it. I just want to end it all. I thought But there's still one last thing I have to do... I walked upstairs and it felt like I was dragging cares behind me. There was suck a big weight on my shoulders. I just couldn't figure out why. click goes the lock. creek goes the door. "Father!" I scream. And then I fainted. -—Joe The main land. Jeez. I haven't been here in forever. At least not in my town. I thought. "I'm going to go check on my old friend, Tess." I tell the other mission members. They all just nod and go their separate ways to do their own missions. When I got to Tess's house the door's lock was broken. So I just went in. There were cars here so there must be people here. "Hello?" I called out to nobody. So I just walked upstairs. I know where Tess's room is. I don't know how I knew, I just knew. I walked past her fathers room and saw a spot of red in the corner of my eye. So I turned back. Tess's father was dead. Tess was laying on the floor. I don't know if she's dead or not so I run up to her and check her pulse. She's alive. Oh thank god. So I picked her up and carry her to her room and put her in bed. I don't know why I did that. And I don't know why I stayed there until she woke up. I just did. -—Tess I woke up and I was in bed. That's strange. I thought. But then I remembered. Seeing my father, dead made me upset all over again. I walked over to the window and stood on my window seat and opened the window. I was going to jump. -—Joe Shes going to jump! I have to stop her! I ran over to her and just before he jumped, I grabbed her by the waist and threw her on her bed. She just stared at the window with horror. -—Tess Something just grabbed me! Jumped up and started looking for whatever grabbed me. Then it hit me. Literally. Well I backed up into it. Or him. I screamed and almost passed out again but he caught me and held me up. Do it before you die and leave him heart broken!” Said a voice in my head. So I raised my arm with the knife and pointed it at the perfect angle and dropped it. Instead of killing him I stripped myself of my weapons and kissed him back. His hands came up and held my face and he pulled away and had this look of pure joy on his face. Then he said, "Yes! I did it! I did it!" and I just stared at him wide eyed. “YOU FOOL! Said that same voice. And all I said was, “I don't need you.” and it was gone. Or so I thought.....
