I push on the double doors.. They seem jammed. "****!!" I hissed. Alright. Calm down, take a few steps back, and run at it. I thought. "Okay..." I said, taking off at a full sprint. Oh thank god! One of the doors bust open and I tumble out and just lay on the dusty, rocky ground. Where am I? I wondered. Well I don't have tome to sit and think about it. I started walking where it seemed like the most reasonable place to go. The house across the big, dusty, dirt field. I got there in no time because I ran but with this scorching heat it sealed like forever. I walked up the steps and knocked on the door. "Whose on my god **** property?!? I'll give you five seconds to get off my porch you sorry son of a *****!!!" Shouted an old lady with a shot gun. "Ma'am, please. I just need to know where I am. And maybe a glass of water.?" I asked. A pleading look on my face. She lowered her shot gun and sighed, "where did you come from?" she asked me I pointed over to the abandoned warehouse across the field. "Come inside. Quickly!" She said, grabbing me by the forearm and pulling me inside with a frightened look on her old wrinkled face. "Lock the door. Hurry!" I locked it because I was taught to obey my elders. "Take a seat," she said, and walked into the kitchen.
The woman came back with my glass of water and I greedily chugged it. "Ahh. Thank you so much. But why did you freak out about the warehouse?" I asked the lady. "Everyone who goes in, never Gomes out. You must be a fighter." She said. "What do you mean?" I asked "I see people go in there by the bus load. Little children even. They never come back out. That's why there's no town here anymore." She said, staring of into the distance. "They feed them to the demons..." I mumbled. "So where is this place located exactly?" "New Mexico." She said. Well ****. I live in Colorado. "Do you have a car?" I asked the woman. "Yes. Why?" she asked, obviously suspicious of something. "Can I use it?" i asked with a pleading look on my face. "No." she said, getting up and unlocking the door. "I think you should leave now." "May I use your restroom first? I have a cut on my arm and I needs to be cleaned." I said. "Fine. But make it fast," She said. I started walking down the hall but instead pulled out a knife and whipped it right at the lady. "Thank you for your hospitality, I'm sorry, but I need your car." I said grabbing my knife, her keys, filled a jug I found with water and took her food. I was on my way home.
I was what to get home. I had never been in a car by myself either. So just for fun, I floored it. 60, 75, 105, 122, 147, 168, 189 Boy is driving fun. I love the feel of speed. But because I didn't want to run out of gas I slowed back down to 60 mph. ࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂ "Daddy! Slow down! That's too fast!" Ten year old me screamed. It was my first time in the passenger seat. He wasn't really going too fast, he was only going around 40 mph "I'm not even going fast, Princess." he laughed, reaching over and tickling me, and speeding up to scare me. I laughed and then saw it coming, but it was too late. We were going to crash head-on with that semi. BEEEEEEEER BEEEEEEEEER! "Daddy look out!!" I screamed pointing to the semi. "Holy ****!" He yelled, swerving and putting an arm across my chest... ࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂ "Ugh. I need to listen to the radio." I said. Turning the dial to see what stations there was. Then I saw the glove box. I reached over and pulled the lever and the box opened with a plop. "Bingo." I said, grabbing the big wad of money. "Oh. What's this?" I said picking up the pistol. "About time," I said throwing the pistol on the seat next to me, but I must have thrown it a little too hard because it bounced off and onto the floor. "**** it." I said and tried to reach it. BEEEEEEEER BEEEEEEEEER! "****!!!" I screamed and swerved into the cornfield to avoid the semi. "God ****." I said, backing up. "Where did that even come from?" ࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂࿂ After a few days of driving I finally made it back to my home with half the wad of money and everything else. I parked the car in the driveway and got out to go inside when I sensed something...
