Actually, I've just realised that I won't be able to update tomorrow, so here is a crappy one for now --------------------------------------------------- I lurked in the shadows, watching people come out of the clubs. All of them were in groups. "Damn" I whispered. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a girl walking alone. She was absolutely beautiful, long brown hair like a waterfall down her back, sky blue eyes, soft pink lips... Boy, this would be hard. It was always harder to kill the beautiful ones. I began to walk over to her, and clicked my fingers to make the mist appear. I was really surprised when she just kept on walking, not even flinching. This was going to be tough. I appeared in front of her, like I usually did, but still she walked on, probably dismissing me as a drunk pervert. I picked up my pace and followed her, quickly catching up, then tapping her shoulder. She whipped her head around, hair flying, with a "What?!". I didn't like her tone, but replied "Hey, it's dangerous out here at night." She simply shrugged and said "I'm ok, aren't I?". I was shocked by her boldness. "Let me walk with you, to keep you safe" I pleaded. She stared at me, then sneered "Yeah right. You're only after One Thing, so leave me alone.". She began walking again, leaving me standing there dumbfounded. I caught a hold of myself and raced after her, saying "I just want to make sure you are safe. Who knows what could happen to you, especially with all these drunk people about.". She stopped and turned to face me. This time, her tone was slightly softer. "Ok. But don't talk to me, alright?" I nodded, wishing she hadn't said that. I really wanted to know more about her. --------------------------------------------------- Sorry guys, there is more but I'm really tired, so I will leave it to my writing partners -Angela123- and hiUrock to update this for y'all, cause I won't be on the next two days have fun
Sorry it's crappy, I just didn't want to keep you waiting any longer. -------------------------------------------- I fell into step next to the girl, trying to start a conversation. "So, I'm Edward." She just ignored me and quickly strode ahead. I hurried after her but stayed silent. I had taken the hint. She didn't want to speak to me. A man stumbled out of the bar in front of us and tripped into the girl. "Heyy, gorgeous," he slurred. "Let me buy you a drink." She just ignored him. "Aw, c'mon babe!" His hand was already reaching for her ***. "We can go to my place, hang out. Whaddya say?" She sidestepped out of his reach. "No thanks." But the man kept coming toward her. "I'm good at convincing," he grinned. "Let me convince you." She kicked the back of his knees, sweeping his feet out from underneath him. "I said no," the girl said coldly as she watched him crumple to the ground in a limp heap reeking of alcohol. "Daaaaamn," I muttered under my breath. I never thought I would encounter a girl skilled at rejecting men, let alone a fighter. I shook my head and followed her down the street. "Those were some pretty good moves," I commented. "Did someone teach you them? Or did you just learn them yourself?" No reply. This girl would be really hard to get if she didn't even speak to me. I reviewed my options. I could always go back and choose another victim, but that would be giving up. And I don't give up easily. Or I could stick with her and hope for the best. "Can you at least tell me your name?" I begged her. "Because you seem really nice and I was thinking tha-" SMACK! The girl slapped me across the face so hard it left my ears ringing. "Just… stop. Okay? I don't want to talk to you, and I don't want to hook up with you. Go back to the bar and **** some other girl. Not me." With that, she spun on her heel and walked away. And I was still standing there in shock. I had been rejected. I've never been rejected before. Usually, girls would be falling all over themselves to get me. But not her. I should have just counted my losses and went for some other girl. But something about her intrigued me and made me want to know more about her. For the first time in my life, I wanted more than to just kill this girl, this beautiful creature, this fighter. I wanted to know more about her. So I came to a conclusion. I would have to follow her home. --------------------------------------------
