@Spitfire Can you elaborate? I love the prompt! But I'm a little confused. Cynical I can handle, but when you say 'fragmented relationship' do you mean an actual official relationship or a completely nostalgic and platonic one? Are they the same sex, or opposite? Haha, sorry.
Hmm. How about an official relationship between two girls. I would say 'girls or guys' but, this prompt is based of a story I'm trying to piece together and I already have a guyxguy relationship. BUT, you can do a Gay relationship as opposed to a lesbian one if you want. Just giving direction. Sorry if I'm not making sense, I just woke up lol
Gah, I could be here the whole day, buuuuut, okay. Percy: Our beloved protagonist, son of Poseidon and Hero of Olympus. Percy is (oh god forgive me PJ fans if I screw this up) tall and has a mop of black hair that contrasts against his see green eyes. (his eyes are a biiiiig thing. Biatches be cray over them ). He is lean yet muscular and nearly always has a cheeky grin plastered onto his face. Our sixteen year old hotshot has been through a lot. He has fought in the second Titan war and battled against countless amounts of monsters. He is currently playing a big part in the war against Gaia and her giants. At this day and age, having to fight in a war for the gods AGAIN makes Percy slighty bitter/cynical. However, he is incredibly loyal and would die for his friends. No joke. He is a natural leader, yet, feels pressured at times (yeah I'm rambling now). Percy is essentially the perfect character. He can be an absolute joker at times, however, he can also be very deep and meaningful when the time is right. He is very protective over his friends and family. Uhhhhhh think that's all. Now, for part two. Reyna. Reyna: The ice queen. Reyna is very Roman. A leader by heart and a warrior by blood. The daughter of Bellona had gained a reputation as being one of the best fighters around. One of her key traits is her cold and stoic demeanor, hence 'ice queen'. Yet, behind the often displayed and completely unreadable mask, lies a girl just wanting to be loved (que Percy Jackson ) . Reyna is an incredibly good judge of character. She is (again, sorry if I mess it up) tall with flowing black hair and has eyes that are black like obsidian. According to the books she has slightly Spanish features. She has a slender body, However, don't fall for the pretty looks - she's more than capable of killing you in a split second. A very serious girl. Finds it hard to reach out to people, due to the fact that she's had to fend for herself for a looooong time. Someone just needs to break through that mask and find the real her. CALLING ALL PJ FANS. IF I MISSED ANYTHING PLEASE DO ADD ONTO MY DESCRIPTION... Thanks. as for the setting.... Let's say the beach, since Percy loves it so much. Hope that helped. Now excuse me..... -dies-
Wow so my prompt and the description above share some similarities. Just so you know, it's meant to be completely different. The war can be between: angels and demons, or, vampires and werewolves, heck even unicorns and zebras if you want.
Sure! Sorry guys, I'm faking sick so I might right a few hours later. I love the prompt descriptions! Gonna get my moolah on!! >:0
@Zyzz My best friends is bonkers for PJ. SHE IS OBSESSED with the character. She tells me Percy's in a relationship with An... Ana... Anabeth? So would you like it to be in a certain setting, like a park, blah blah blah, or him cheating on his gf or whatever? ;o;
-- "So. What's a pretty girl like you doing around these parts?" The bitter laughter rings and echoes in the air. You clutch the small glass of beer in your hands with so much force you hear it threatening to crack, but you immediately loosen up upon hearing the bartendar give a brief shout. "Can't a friend want some company?" The laughter quickly depletes and is replaced with a hollow grin, and you look and see the drunken glazed over expression plastered on her face. There's a scar etched on her cheek. It's intimidating to many people, including you. "So I'm just a friend, eh?" Her voice sounds raspier; throaty and rough. Not only that, but she reeks of salt, clover and cigarettes, the latter bringing back familiar memories and a deep yearning at the back of your throat. You cough, tug at your shorts, and uncross and cross your legs. It's a bad habit of yours, fidgeting around when nervous. Just the thought drives you insane. Since when did you become so insecure around her? Another swig of her beer and a large gulp sends a chill down your spine. And since when did she become so resistent to alcohol? "Abstinence is your friend. There's no need to..." A glance over her shoulders is met with plenty of empty glasses of beer, vodka and whiskey, and you involuntarily shudder at the sight. It's unbecoming for someone of her stature, but you probably have no right in the say. "Overindulge yourself." You finish the sentence with another cough. "I'll do whatever the hell I want." She does it on purpose. Especially when she gives her chapped lips a sensual lick (of course does it on purpose). You grimace and ignore the heat on your cheeks and quickly call for a shot of vodka even when your beer is untouched. "So. Let's be serious. Someone like you wouldn't be here to fuck around, or get a job around these parts." She rolls the 'r' and fuck, the sound pools in your ears and you have a hard time blocking it out. But when she glances back and you and laughs, hiccuping and obviously drunk, the warmth floods out and you're suddenly wide-eyed and uncomfortable. "It's not what you—" "Miss me so soon?" Her laughter has returned, and the whole bar has turned their attention to the two of you. In hurried and choppied movements you quickly grab her arm an abscond, ignoring the protests of the bartender and herself. "I haven't even finished my drink yet!" Her whining is incessant. Everything about her drunken state is. You're repulsed, confused, angered and in the all-too familiar yet foreign stage of infatuation. "Shut up. You're drunk, go home." Your hiss draws the attention of only a few street merchants, and you're glad that it hasn't called for two much attention. "How cruel! Come on, one more drink? You know you want to! It'll just be like the old times, wouldn't it? Fighting the war and getting ourselves killed. This is all a game to you, isn't it?" The words blow and you let go of her arm. "What the hell happened to you?" "An epiphany, darling. You should try having one sometimes." Her eyes have fallen on some fruit the merchants are selling, and you don't bother to regain her attention. You quickly brush a loose strand of hair out of your face and leave. "Hah— wait– where are you going? Stop. Stop!" You turn around and meet her pleading gaze. "You haven't told me the fucking reason why you came back yet." "Something tells me you already know." "I want to hear it from you." It's your turn to laugh. "Because I miss you, that's why." "And you even left just to say that? Travel all the way out here, even?" "So what if I did?" "Then I guess I'm here to tell you that I miss you too, you bitch." -- FOR SPITFIRE! whop okay i think i butchered the cynical part of the PROMPT I'M SORRY I'LL REDO IT IF YOU WANT ;o;;;;;
Yeah I guess cheating, well... In this case it could be like him realising he likes Reyna more and more blah blah meet up blah blah express feelings yada yada shit goes down in some way another... Yeah something like that haha
I am a horrible person. ZYZZ! I AM SO SORRY! I had to get a new phone. See what had happened was I went to pick up my little brother from his swimming practice and I had my phone in my back pocket. His little "friends" pushed me into the pool. And as everyone knows = Luckily I have insurance so the Verizon people replaced it and backed up all my data. YAY!! I SHALL GIVE YOU TWO RERCY SHIP STORIES!!!!!!!
Percy Reyna "Grover! Dude hurry up. I'm going to be late!" "Sorry Percy, sorry. You know, I was getting a bit caught up with Juniper." He quickened his pace, his stubby goat legs clicking on the gravel road. "Come on, we have to go to the shop. I have to buy something for her." I heard a small sigh escape from Grover's mouth. "To the mall we go." Here we are, the heart of New Rome Shopping Mall. It was eerily quiet, not a person in sight. The only sound present was the gurgling of the center fountain in front of me. Something didn't feel right. "Uh Grover, don't you think it's too quiet?" "Yeah, I was just about to ask you the same thi-" He was cut off with a low rumble that echoed through out the building. It's noise gradually coming closer in our direction. I took one look at Grover and we both knew. "Demon?" I questioned. "More like monster," he replied. My fingers slipped into my coat pocket and wrapped around my trusty sword, Riptide. The beast rounded the corner. It's red beady eyes locked onto my chest. The entire creature was covered with fur, the head representing a bull with a large golden ring in his nose. The body was in the form a man. A very strong, built, deadly man-scratch that-A very strong, built, deadly man wearing only a pair of bright white Fruit of the Loom briefs. Just my luck, the Minotaur. He flared his nostrils,legs rearing up behind him. I don't have time for this. I have a place to be! "Percy Jackson, we meet again," It's voice was deep and guttural, but since when could it talk? "You have taken my honor,my pride, and in exchange I will take your life. Today…" He raised his double blade ax above his head and with a mighty roar brought it down." IS THE DAY YOU DIE!" With lighting speed I uncapped Riptide, it turning into a three foot long, double-edged, celestial bronze blade, and barreled away from the ax's strike."Ah, Minotaur , long time no see. I see your still wearing tight-whitey." It took another swing and grazed my forehead . I stumbled backward, dazed by the near fatal accident and Riptide skidded away. I caught my refection in a store window. A narrow cut oozed fresh blood. My long bangs had been chopped off and floated silently to my side. The Minotaur stumbled towards me, ax on his shoulder. "Say good-bye Perseus." "Percy!" Grover called. He had a miniature brown paper bag in his hand. Did he seriously go shopping while I was fighting a deadly creature, bent on my death? "The water fountain!" Of course! I concentrated on the fountain, willing the water to fall under my command.The Minotaur raised it's ax to bear down on my head. CRASH! A pressurized burst of water hurled the creature against the wall. In that split second I grab Riptide, ran for the Minotaur and drove it through it's stomach. The Minotaur shriveled up into a pile of golden dust. "Good-bye."I sneered. I turned towards Grover, "What's in the bag?" "Well, since you were goofing around slaying monsters," I gave him a meaningful looked and he simply batted it way, "I got you this, for her." He dropped the bag in front of me. I took a peak inside and a grin took over my face. "Thanks Grover!She'll love it" "Whatever, you own me big-time. " "You're late." Her voice was like steel, showing no emotion and her hands were folded formally behind her back. I could see her silhouette against setting sun. I winced, telling she was pissed off. "I'm sorry." She turned around. Her face had strong features, high cheekbones, a sharp nose, and thin lips, but it was the eyes I fell for. I had once seen those warm chocolate eyes laugh, now they were stone cold with hurt. I close the distance between us within a couple of strides and took her hands in mine. I could feel her eyes analyzing my face. Her hand reached out and traced the scar I received from the Minotaur's ax. "Percy, what happened, and why is your hair shorter?" Damn it. The ambrosia didn't make the scar disappear, and she noticed the hair. "Well," I tried to give out a chuckle but it came out more as a wheeze, "the thing is I went to the mall and the Minotaur came out, you know the one with the diapers, and he kinda sliced his ax across my forehead which kinda left a scar and chopped off my hair" I cringed, waiting for the scornful words to flood out her mouth. "Ok."She calmly said. I was puzzled,"Ok?You're not mad?" "Of course not, why would I be mad? I happy that you're still alive." She wrapped her arms around me, holding on tight. I breathed deeply, taking in her aroma of vanilla and lavender, her warm body pressed close to my. I lifted her chin with my rough hand. Our lips moved closer, until they finally met. Her arms placed themselves around my neck and in turn mine slipped on her waist. The kiss became deeper, more passionate. Her teeth gently tugged at my bottom lip. I grabbed her closer, my tongue sliding into her mouth, intertwining with hers. A light moan escaped from her. I delicately untangled myself away from her, moving my hands to sweep spare hair from her face. My lips brush against her ear as I whispered to her, "I got you something." I pulled a small navy velvet box from my back pocket. When I opened the she let out a small gasped. Inside was a silver heart locket, on the front was a blue trident surrounded by waves. The words 'Forever and Ever' engraved under it. She look up at me ,not knowing what to say for once. I smirked,"Open it." Her fingers nimbly cracked it ajar. On one side was a picture of us staring intently into each others eyes, our foreheads touching. The side was a portfolio of Reyna, gazing at the ocean. Tears wielded up in her eyes."Percy, it's beautiful. Why'd you get it." I placed the locket around her neck, enveloping her and kissing the top of her head. "To show everyone you're mine" She turned her head up at me gingerly gave my lips a dainty kiss. Together we watched the ocean waves crash against the cliffs. "Thank you Percy. I love it." "And I love you Reyna, forever and ever." Story One of Two
Valentine's Day Reyna quickened her pace to the Fields of Mars. She knew that Cupid was trying to track her down and she didn't like that at all. She was afraid that he might get her during one of her arguments with Octavian and that wouldn't be any good. She took another look around and then she felt a sharp pain in the back of her thigh. "Oh gods,"she rasped, groaning. She started to freak out. What if she did see Octavian first? What a disaster that would be! "Reyna!" Someone yelled from behind her. She hesitated. "Reyna, I need to talk to you!" It was Percy. 'It might be important!' She told herself,'But if I see him and talk to him I'll fall in love with him! And he has a girlfriend!' "Reyna?" Percy was closer now and his voice sounded worried. "Are you okay? Are you ignoring me?" Reyna didn't answer; she was still at war with herself. How could she have been so stupid? She should have stayed in the Principia, away from Cupid. She had been careless to think that she would be safe walking across the Field of Mars on such a dangerous day for her. "Reyna, are you avoiding me?" His hand was on her shoulder, warm and comforting. "Did I do something wrong?" He sounded slightly panicked. Reyna sighed. This was useless; she wouldn't be able to avoid Percy. Luckily the effects of an arrow only lasted for a day and it would be better if it was Percy instead of a different boy. "No Percy, I'm not avoiding you, what's wrong?" Reyna turned to face Percy and stared into his eyes. They were such a mesmerizing green, worry and doubt flittered through them. "Nothing it's just…" Percy trailed off. "You're staring at me weird." "What? Oh, sorry." Reyna looked down but she couldn't help it. She looked back at Percy. He brushed her hair behind her ear, making butterflies erupt in her stomach. "Is there something you wanted to ask me?" she questioned. "Um, yeah, I was wondering if you would come to the Principia with me, I have something for you." "What is it?" "A surprise." Reyna smiled and nodded. "Okay, let's go." Percy grinned goofily and Reyna couldn't help but laugh. He took her hand, making the butterflies reappear and pulled her off the Fields. Percy leaded her towards the Principia and several of the other demigods stared at them. Percy passed Hazel and Frank. Hazel grinned at him and Frank have him a thumbs up. He grinned back and kept walking. Reyna glanced back at them and saw Frank pass something to Hazel… was that money? Reyna shook her head, this wasn't making much sense but she didn't care. They passed Octavian as well who narrowed his eyes slightly at the two Praetors. She arched an eyebrow at him and he shook his head. They finally reached the Principia and Percy pulled her inside. "Alright, I'm here, what do you want?" Reyna asked. Percy pushed the door closed and locked it. He turned to face Reyna and took a step closer. He touched her cheek and she gasped, looking at her feet. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing," She mumbled. Percy dropped his hand but Reyna grabbed at it, loving the way it felt when he touched her. Percy smirked and tilted her chin up with his other hand. She looked into his vibrant green eyes. He stared at her, his eyes darting all over her body until finally meeting hers. "I-I…" Percy trailed off and Reyna smiled. "I'm sorry I shouldn't do this to you. You're probably still waiting for Jason to come back. I shouldn't have done that deal…" "What deal?" Reyna asked, she was losing him! No, she wouldn't let that happen. "I-I asked Cupid to shoot you with an arrow, I wanted you to fall in love with me. Even if it was only for a day." Reyna stared intently at him, not comprehending what he was telling her. "Reyna…I, I can't get you out of my mind. I think that… I love you." Percy whispered the last part wrapping both his arms around her waist. He then leaned down; his breath was warm and smelled slightly like sea salt. Reyna leaned up at the same time. There lips greeted and synchronize perfectly. She felt so eager to kiss him wrapping her arms around his neck. He pulled her in tighter, his hands running up and down her back. Reyna shuddered with passion. He pulled away, tracing his fingers over her cheek. It was so wrong but felt so right. "What about Annabeth?" She whimpered. "Does it matter?" He asked, his voice low and husky. Reyna immediately shook her head. "Of course not. But…" Percy silenced her with another kiss. She sighed contently and let Percy take over from there, communicating only through words of passion and kisses of love. Cupid watched the two from above. He was grinning from ear to ear, fingering his bow. Not bad for another year's work. It was definitely worth it. He held the ripped up fabric of Percy's old T-shirt in one hand from the slight quarrel that occurred. He winced, timidly touching the cut on his cheek from Percy's sword. No bother though, the plan had followed through and he would drop it off at Camp Half-Blood later. Cupid sighed and lounged on a cloud, watching the two. He rested his head on his hands and sighed again. He would have to get Octavian later, but now he would just enjoy the two Praetors. Admiring the love from a distance, admiring something that he could never have. Story 2 out of 2. PJ FOREVER!Once again I am sorry for taking so long
