no sorry, the story's almost done

 

"Charlie is that you?"
Somebody stepped out of the shadows, and it definitely wasn't Charlie. She was wearing a black hoodie that completely covered her face.
"Who are you?"
"I'm your worst nightmare."
Then she attacked.

I ran into the clearing, only to see some girl attacking him.
"STOP!"
She turned around to look at me.
"It's me you want not him."
"Now why would I want to kill you?"
Slowly she took down her hood, revealing her face.
"Emma?"
She stared at me with an evil gleam in her eyes. Suddenly a voice cried out.
"That's not Emma!"

Cam stepped out of the shadows.
"Ok seriously?" Tony yelled," Where are all these people coming from?"
Cam jumped onto Emma's back. Emma ran around trying to get her off.
"Quick! Hit her on the head!"
I grabbed a tree branch and smacked Emma with it. She fell to the ground, unconscious.
"So if this isn't Emma who is it?"
Cam stared at me.
"Isn't that obvious?"
Cam reached down and pulled a false nose off of Emma. Then she pulled off her wig. After she was done it was clear who was lying on the ground in front of us.
It was Emily.



The police were there within three minutes. They loaded Emily in the cop car as I turned to Cam.
"So how did you know that Emily was the attacker?"
"I didn't, Karl and Karissa told me."
"What?"


We were all in the hospital crowded around Karl and Karissa.
"So how did you figure it out?"
Karl laughed.
"It was pretty obvious. Emily has separation issues, it's common for orphans. But she was also mentally unstable. After she got the text saying how you had met a whole bunch of nice people, and how Amy was already such a good friend she flew off the handle. She robbed our house, messed with some school files, and Emma Lee Jones was born."
"So she was crazy?"
"Exactly."
"But then why did she attack you, Karissa and Leliah?"
"She attacked me because I had figured out her plot. I saw her once without the fake nose, and recognized her instantly. She knew I was to big of a threat. The reason she attacked Leliah was because she saw her attack Amy. Leliah just assumed she was insane, but she was to much of a threat to be allowed to live."
"And Karissa?"
"Emily knew she would figure it out before much longer, so she decided to stop that from happening."
I looked at the floor, I couldn't believe my best friend turned out to be completely insane. That had to be the worst part of it all, you know, besides the people dying and stuff.


"Do you really have to go?"
Tony was helping me load my bags into the car.
"Yeah. I mean there's Leliah's funeral and I have to take care of Karl until he gets better. But I promise I'm going to come back."
"When?"
"Soon."
We stood there for a while.
"Well I have to go."
"Wait Charlie."
"What?"
And before I could do anything Tony kissed me. We were like that for a while until he broke it.
"Here." He said handing me a CD,"You're probably going to want this."
I took it and got in the car. I looked at what it said and smiled.
