Jayley stands up from the pool and held her shoes with one hair, walking barefoot into the school. Before entering, she looked up and stared at the sky, then walked back in emotionless.
(What about Lauryn is nowhere near the training rooms dont you understand...) "That was the reason why Drew. I couldn't take it because of you." Lauryn says quietly in Drew's ear while stood on tiptoes.
Drew: He looked at her. "It was snowing on Ireland, as you walked alongside me in that white Christmas. Try to find what else is missing in there."
Lauryn looks around, trying to imagine the scene, "we had just passed the local square with the huge Christmas tree in the centre. It was peaceful walking along and I caught a couple of snowflakes on my tongue."
Drew: "We walked inside the rented apartment, as we entered people stare at us weirdly, as to why they did that we didn't know. We opened the door and the first thing we see is a pool of blood on the floor."
Lauryn stumbles backwards slightly, feeling slightly dizzy "the blood didn't seem to have an owner at first but then there was that shadow..." Lauryn trails off.
Drew: "A shot rang as you fell to the floor, blood coming out your shoulder. What happened after that I don't know."
Lauryn looks at Drew "I wasn't fully concious, I kept dropping in and out. There was commotion that spread quickly through the block. It went blank then I remember the shadow stepping over me. Annoyingly it goes blank again then I manage to sit myself up. Obviously not quietly as it hurt, then I saw you. Your chest was only lightly expanding when I managed to get to you. You were barely alive." Lauryn stops with tears running down her cheeks. She hides her face in Drew's chest, unable to speak.
Nate: *Waking up with Astro set next to me* "How you doing cousin?" Astro asked. "Not too bad I guess.. Still in pain but... Wait where's my sister!" "She's being taken care off by a friend, don't worry she will be fine" He smiles.
Lauryn hugs him back "only because you helped, like you always help." Lauryn looks up at Drew, her eyes red, "the next thing I remember is people coming into the room and helping me up and I collapsed into their arms. I can only guess that they picked you up too otherwise you wouldn't be here..." Lauryn trails off again.
Lauryn pokes his nose "its not funny, you almost died." She was serious but she couldn't help smiling.
