  1. I can update rite now if u want

  2. Bianca's POV
"Sorry about the change in plan sweetie, but boss decided that it would be better to hit the fast forward button. If you know what I mean." Derek comes around with a casual smirk on his face and wraps an arm around my waist.
"I don't know how my sister ever dated you." I pull away from his grasp.
"Eye of the beholder.", he chuckles
I stare at him with a stony gaze.
    "You should have told me!"
    Derek shrugs.
    "No time.", he says simply.
I take a deep breath in, resetting my priorities. Do I continue with chewing out Derek or do we move forward and get this impromptu meeting over with? Sigh, let's get moving.
    "What is the next step?"
"The bait has been set now we make her see me a couple times. After that you take her in to see the doctor and you shall, make sure she is diagnosed, er, correctly."
    I laugh evilly.
    "Yeah, I can do that."
"Good, good. You are learning fast, just remember, don't get too full of yourself." He salutes and steps through the mirror on the hall closet, because it happens to be my entrance to the dark HQ. I go to the living room and collapse onto a very comfortable lounge chair.
"I wish this was my mission and my mission only."

    Laura's POV
I walk up the stairs to the second story where my room is.
One thing about Derek is stuck in my mind. The way the dark of the night just, well kind of enveloped him even as he walked into the light. It was as though, this probably sounds crazy, he could bend the darkness and, control it? I don't know what to think, but right now I am searching for anything to explain me seeing a corpse walking. And with a snake too! Come on, a snake? How cheesy can you get? Oh well doesn't matter. What matters is that I need to figure out what happened, whether a trick of the light or something I haven't even thought of yet. I grab my cat shaped pillow and the wheels in my mind begin to turn.
"There has to be a rational explanation for this!" I say out loud, in fact a little too loud I realize after remembering that I'm supposed to be asleep. I quickly flick off my light and lay in the complete blackout. My eyes do not adjust at all even after a while of just resting on my bed staring at the ceiling. I try to count the glow in the dark stars positioned all over it. Finally after what seems to be ages, (really only about 30min.) I come up with three possibilitys.
    1. I'm insane and hallucinated the whole thing.

    2. I'm a medium or necromancer and either accidentally brought him back to life or I am seeing him as a ghost and he is trying to contact me. Really?

    3. Derek never died. Something happened making me stay longer than I thought and something else is happening that is either connected to this or not. Conspiracy almost.

I decide to not choose any as my excuse since none seem quite appealing. My mind flits between other options before I register that a conversation is going on downstairs. I climb down from my bed and tiptoe over to my door and cup my ear to it. I can hear, Bianca?! And another person, a man. Who sounds almost familiar…

  7. Bump!
    Love kitty pillows :3

  8. Lol it just seemed to fit

  9. Ok updating soon

    Laura's POV
I climb back into bed and sit in the darkness. I shiver, if that was for real, Derek on the other side of the conversation then I am not insane or a necromancer but simply Derek did not die that night. Although it was very good staging if that is the case. But still how could Bianca lie to me about something that important, was she trying to make me think I'm crazy? Lately I probably wouldn't put it past her to stoop that low but really, who would go to that much trouble to do something like that? Plus why, and how was she doing it? All these questions make me even more sure that this is not the case although it cannot be completely overlooked.

  13. Yay! Update time!
    Although no readers
Here it is back from the dead on page 15
    Oh well.
    Enjoy!

    Laura's POV

It's the morning and the twitter of birds awakens me. I walk downstairs and only see Bianca, she has a smile plastered on her face like usual and today she is wearing a white headband with a white fabric flower attached.

"Feeling any better this morning? No dead people in your room?". She giggles.

"Ha ha ha.", I say sarcastically and sit down at the kitchen table.

"I'm just teasing, here." she gives me a plate that has peanut butter on toast on it.

"Thanks sis." I dig in and am done in five minutes.

I leave the table and run up the stairs in record time. I rummage around in my closet and decide to get dressed in dark blue skinny jeans and a black v-neck t-shirt with little, clear crystals around the neck line that when in light look almost rainbow, which is very pleasant. I throw on a black Aeropostale hoodie with white writing that says 'AERO', brush my hair, put on my silver teardrop earrings that I got for my birthday last year and shimmery lip gloss then run downstairs.

Bianca is waiting with the car keys dangling off her finger. She tends to wake up early and is perfectly perfect way before me, not that I'm perfectly perfect or anything in the first place.

"Come on! Let's go, you're going to be late!"
Like always we are almost late just like any other day it is because of my leisurely morning habits.

    I hate mornings.

We rush outside and jump into her red Porsche 918 Spyder. It's really new and I don't know where she got it but it's a gorgeous car. The doors swing up and it's a hybrid so it's Eco friendly. Although apparently the Porsche 918 Spyder is very expensive so I do not know how Bianca could own one. But I'm still glad she does.

We arrive at my school just as the first bell is ringing. I open the door and sling my backpack over my shoulder and step out. I go to the front door and enter. The hallways are abundant with noise and clamor, just like every other day. My home room is on the second floor and is taught by Ms. Florence. She is your stereotypical stiff lipped, by the book, prim and proper grade nine teacher. Every one makes fun of her and when her back is turned she gets bombarded with spitballs and paper airplanes. The same people get detention everyday but really don't seem to care. The day goes by pretty fast, from home room to math, to chemistry… I need not go on.

At the end of the day I go to the library to get a head start on my overflowing pile of homework that apparently the teachers find a riot to give just when all the other teachers are giving it too. There is definitely a conspiracy at work here. I won't have much time because mom will be at the school shortly to pick me up but this little bit is really essential to me not going insane with all the papers.

I prefer the library to a classroom because the only teacher I actually like in school is the librarian. His name is Mr. Panez, but he let's me call him David since we are very close, as close as a librarian and student can get.

"And how is the wonderful Laura doing today?", he asked cheerfully.
I blushed. Okay I'll admit it, I have a crush on my librarian. I mean come on, he's nice, charming, and definitely easy on the eyes. He is approximately six feet tall, has a mop of light brown hair, hazel eyes that look different every time I see him and boy is he muscular! Six pack and arm and leg muscles that are ginormous, I am sure he works out. Plus he has this really infectious smile that just lightens the mood no matter what kind of a day you've had.

"Fine thanks, how 'bout you?", I respond politely just like I had drilled into me as a small child.

"Good, good. You look like something's troubling you. Care to share?" I really don't want to talk about me becoming a modern day medium but who better to bounce craziness off of then David?

"Okay, this is going to sound insane, but… well do you remember Derek?"
A concerned or possibly scared look flashes across his face before answering in his regular cheery attitude.
"How could I forget. He was killed right? Umm, oh! He was in a gang and that's how he got killed, correct? Now what was the name? Hurricane Patios?"
    I laugh.
"Very close but no cigar. 'Tornado Lanterns'. And yes you were correct on all other statements."
"Heh. Anyway, what about Derek? Is the grief starting up again?"

It's true; I grieved for at least two months and am still getting over the fact. I mean who can blame me! I am a person who witnessed the cold blood murder of her boyfriend just after we kissed for the first time. It was very horrific if I do say so myself.

"Well, see I was walking home from the mall last night and decided to take a short cut and in the alleyway I saw him. And to make things even more weird; when I got home I had been in that alley for three hours!"
"Hmm..." David rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I think I might know what is going on but I shall need to do some research. Besides, it seems that your chariot awaits you." he gestures to a blonde bimbo with a phone glued to the side of her head.

    In other words, my sister.

She appeared to be in a riveting conversation but really I couldn't care less, until all of a sudden I heard a sentence that caught my attention,

    "And he's, he's dead?"
There was a odd expression on her face but with her eyes covered by dark wrap-around sunglasses (knowing her probably Gucci or some other name brand) it was hard to tell what this look really meant. She, sensing my movement toward her, peers over her glasses.

Bianca says good bye to whoever was on the other end and puts the cell in her purse. She turns to face me and pushes her glasses up on top of her head.
"Let's go." she says with a steely tone.
"Wait!" Mr Panez exclaims across the room, "I almost forgot, Happy Birthday!" Through all the confusion and of the day before I had forgotten my own 15th birthday!
"Uh, thanks!" I studder. He nods and goes back to his desk. I look at Bianca who is fumbling to find her car keys. After a little while she pulls them out triumphantly.
"Ah ha!" she cries out, a little too loudly. Which she notices once she sees everyone staring at her with a couple shh's as well.
She sheepishly turns to the door and silently walks toward it. When she gets there her hand reaches out to the handle but stops, and it retracts. I hear a sniffle before she reaches out again and turns the knob.

We walk out and to my surprise there is no car awaiting us, no taxi, no bus, no limousine (it's happened before, trust me my sister can be extravagant when getting out of walking) just us and a stretch of sidewalk.
"Come," she beckons to me, "I thought that we, we should walk." she pauses then continues, "Mom just phoned. She had some news. The reason I'm picking you up is-" Bianca is cut off by a sudden yell followed by all the street lights busting like fire crackers on the fourth of July! Bianca ducks into a dead end side street and pulls me in behind her.

I'm thrown to the pavement and look up angrily prepared to say something not suited for younger readers when my eyes take in the scene before me. My sister, fighting with three men. The men look familiar, and I know why. They are from my dead boyfriend's old gang. Questions race through my head faster than I can process. She's throwing punches just as good as Jackie Chan, and using moves I've only ever seen on tv! Plus weird black orby things are being thrown around destroying everything they hit. One guy falls and another steps away from the fight. He pulls a shiny object out of his pocket and I soon realize what it is, a gun. A pistol to be exact. He aims it at my sister and I know that unless I intervene her brains will be splattered all over the ally and most likely mine will follow suit. I slowly stand the gunman's back turned to me. I creep up behind him and just when he's loading the gun I reach out over his shoulder and grab it. Him being stunned by my presence in general releases it and I quickly unload it before he can take in the events. I pull my sister away and we sprint down the road. What has Bianca gotten herself into?
