"So far it looks like the only person who deserves to be here is him," Joel pointed out, shooting a stare at Alex.
"That's Gunner. He's done nearly everything" Fawn said looking to Joel "Is that the only crime you've committed?"
"Fair enough, but at least you're kind." Joel suggested. "Yeah, the way I see it, everyone does bad stuff it's just some people do more than others. And sometimes it's not their fault. Sometimes the situation causes them to do bad things even if they're not a bad person. Of course, there are people who do bad things just for the heck of it, but you know." Amy mused.
"Well, everybody does things they shouldn't so I'm far from perfect but yes, that's the only serious thing that I've done. Accident or not," Joel replied.
Fawn smiled slightly. "I like that way I thinking." She looked at the two of them, they were interesting people.
"Huh, this might not be so bad after all..." Joel said. "Great, now you've jinxed it," Amy said laughing before punching Joel lightly on the Arm. Joel smiled. "Wonder how far to the summit now..." Amy said.
"We still have quite a ways to go. Right now we've decided to head for that outcropping to spend the night"
"OK," Joel said, "Good plan. It's starting to get dark and that should give us some shelter." Amy checked the hunting rifle that was slung over her back whilst Joel spun the revolver repeatedly.
Fawn focused on walking, staying relatively close to the people shed just met. She listened carefully for any movement that wasn't human as they approached it.
Joel and Amy stayed next to Fawn and Amber and, turning round, looked out over the desolate island in awe.
Amber snapped out of her daze and looked at Amy. "Oh sorry I hadn't replied sooner. I killed a prosecutor, judge and detective. Nothing much, well compared to what the others did."
