"This time he abducted two adults, using one as bait, and a 17 year old girl to decide which one lives, which one dies." Maeve points out as she starts walking Kesi inside.
"I already know that much. I was saying that he would've killed them in person, had there only been one in the contract."
"I know." Maeve calls back. Kesi smiles sadly as they walk through the corridor "I hope Max will be okay." She says quietly.
Kesi growls "do you want to stick your nose in another place? I just lost a grandparent I didn't know I had." Maeve turns Kesi away and takes her to her room. "Stay in here for now, just calm down and relax."
Maeve takes a deep breath to calm herself "yes that's detective Hans. Alice, why don't you go and help Max, I have to talk to Seth about something."
"Max needs your help more." Maeve ushers Alice towards the infirmary where they took Max. Maeve looks back at Seth "I know I was looking for you, but don't appear suddenly in front of me." She says quietly.
