So, I dated this one chick in high school. It was a long distance relationship and it was nice, but she ended up breaking up with me because "Well, you're not here and I need some action, so let's break up. Oh, and I fell in love with 3 guys meanwhile and I would have felt bad to try anything with them while being with you, sorry." I know her mom found our conversations and threatened to kick her out if she wouldn't break up with me (because 2 girls being together? *gasp*). It took me like a week to recover from the breakup, but I find it kinda funny now (mostly because she didn't get to do anything with either of the 3 dudes she tried to be with afterwards). Lesson learned tho: long distance? Not really something I'd like to repeat unless I've been in a relationship with the other woman for a few years irl beforehand.
It's not even the worst. I dated some real tw.ats when I was younger. Self-worth game strong af now! Ty for the stat item! ?
Ok. So I dated this boy long distance on and off for 2 years, we kept breaking it off because long distance just doesn’t work. We stayed friends and grew closer and closer. He joined the navy a few years later, got stationed only 4 hours away from me. He BOUGHT A CAR to come visit me, and we met. It was magical. Everything they talk about in the movies and stuff. He was great, but dating your best friend normally doesn’t work out. Plus we were still long distance in a way even though we seen each other once a month (we dated 5 months). We ultimately broke up because he isn’t good at commitment. It’s been 3 years though and we’re still good friends.
D'oh. Now I know and stay away from them like there's no tomorrow, but teenage me was like "eh, what do I have to lose" lmao.
