Chapter 4: Epic and Awesome The next day after training, in the free time, Risika went to go find Adrian. She spotted him sitting on the ground on a mat, meditating while waiting for her. "When did you learn how to do that,"she asks, pointing at him. "................My Grandfather taught me, he said that it calms the soul and gives you strength, so i do it everyday to make myself a better, stronger, person,"adrian explains. "Can you show me how? It will probably make our fight a little more fun,"she says teasingly. "Yeah, sure. Just sit down and cross your legs," after she sits down, he goes on,"now close your eyes and slowly breathe in and out while clearing your mind of all things." As Risika's eyes are closed, Adrian opens his and watches her. After a minute of watching her, he crawls over to her and sits next to her and starts meditating again. After a while, they both open their eyes, feeling calmer and clearer. "Are you ready to battle?"Risika asks while putting her hair up in a ponytail. "He// yeah I am!"he shouts. As they start their battle/tussle, they draw a crowd and people start cheering for them. One girl in particular Risika sees, is sitting over in a corner, not enjoying being there at all. Oh well, her loss, Risika thought to herself. As Risika avoids Adrian's hit, she kicks out her leg and knocks him over from beneath. Defeated, but proud of the fight he put up, Risika holds her hand out to help him up. "Good fight," she says, shaking his hand. "I know, because I taught you those moves," he says, smirking. "Oh f*** you," she says, playfully punching his shoulder. "Well, I guess I'll see you later,"he says with a sad look on his face. "Bye, see you later."Risika says. "Bye." ----------------------------------- After dinner, as Risika is walking back to her room, she feels like someone is watching her. When she turns the corner, out of no where, Adrian comes up and kisses her, but she doesn't kiss back because she was so surprised. "Why did you do that?" she asks, still shocked. "Because I love you," Adrian says, admiration in his eyes. "I-I l-love you too," she says back. This time, she sees him coming for her lips and kisses him back. She puts her arms around his neck and he cups the back of her head with his hands. After they break the kiss, Risika continues on her way back to her room. She lays in bed later that evening, not able to sleep because her mind is clogged up with thoughts of Adrian.<3
