This is what many people mistake for "Swag." Fitted Cap/Snapback, Some Rapper brand sweater, a lanyard (with no-fucking-thing in it), [sometimes] a backpack (why the hell? Idk.), Cargo Shorts halfway down their legs, black/white socks that are almost to their knees, and vans. I used to dress like this 2 damn years ago. Then this whole swag thing started and EVERYONE LOOKS THE SAME (they mostly ALL wear a white T, cargo shorts, red caps and red vans), and now I Cant Wear My Damn Clothes Like That Anymore Cuz Then I Look Like An Idiot Poser Like The Rest 

Fuck you morons with ur misunderstanding of Swag 
Now I cant wear my clothes how I want 

  2. That just looks like a grown up dressed like a kid 

  3. I'll stick to my 40's/50's style 

  4. Class and Swag

I myself have class and swag.

Class - I treat women with respect. I like to dress myself well when the situation sees fit. I teach my son the right, proper, respectful ways to treat others, I generally can fit into any social situation. I always try to be positive and stay happy and move forward in my life. I only worry about what I can do TODAY that will better my life so I can be the best father I can be.

Swag - As a chef of 15 years, I am pretty confident in my abilities as a chef, and as leader and an employee/co-worker. If anyone has a question or situation, they know they can come to me because i will have the answer or if I don't, they know I can find one that best fits them. I like to dress in my own style, whether it be sweat pants or sandals with socks. I like to wear baseball caps or beanies, if I feel like it. I wear whatever is comfortable. I teach my son to be happy with who he is, and to be his own self. I teach him to stand up for what he thinks is right.

I don't know if any of what I wrote makes sense but those are my thoughts.

  5. fcgriff, swag is not confidence.

  6. It is for me, and how I display it in my work place

  7. You are confusing swag for the definition of swagger.

Swagger is when you are confident BUT expressing it in an arrogant or aggressive way.

  8. Maybe I am. I thought swag was just short for swagger. Lol.

  9. Swag is an ornament or decoration displayed in a room. It contains flowers, fruits, or any other greenry.

Also swag can be a form of curtains.

  10. Well I guess I'm getting too old to learn all these new terms the kids say these days

  11. I'm using the dictionary dude, kids are just so stupid that they grab things from songs of drunks, drug abusers, and people who only talk about sex, then to use it in every day life as if it were cool.

  12. I agree with you on that.

  13. Notice who I said the songs come from... thats what disturbs me the most

  14. Class all the way ..... Swag is for idiot thugs just like soulja boy and everybody trying to be like him

  15. Gonzo, it's one of the reasons why I listen to metal. 

  16. I just looked it up and one of the definitions is...

-appearance, style, or the way he or she presents themselves.

So in me saying that I'm confident, isn't that a way I present myself? I present myself as confident in my workplace.
