From a personal experience depression totally sucks makes u loose all the care in the world...ppl with depression tend to hide it with anger or ignorance. And for any of those who think suicide is the only option u have left , pls think it over again. I wanted to kill myself but decided not to in the end and though there are moments I wish I had, in the end the only ones suffering will b your family. So whenever u r felling low just know that whatever it is it was pass....be it for the better or the worst, just keep ur hopes alive Time heals everything...just give time some time...
Knows what's horrible than knowing someone who committed suicide? Knowing children, not teens, children, that have been committing suicide in a small community and one of your nieces was on suicide watch. I'm just glad that its all over now.
As an addendum from the other side of the isle (i.e. from an actual suicidal rather than someone trying to help) Google ash bus stop and see if you can locate or talk to someone who has copies of the articles. This was an old site that got mentioned in CNN way way back and I believe it predates Facebook. It has many articles from methods (such as choice of drugs) on how to quickly and painlessly wash away. There are philosophical articles regarding pro-choice vs. pro-life as well as the best way to write farewell letters to your loved ones in the best manner possible so that you won't be misinterpreted. Be warned that these entries are for true suicidals (be we failed or successful ones) and not for your avg "I will jump down a bridge cause there is no railing" type of impulsive personality disorders that has for centuries given us suicidals a bad name. I apologize to my fellow suicidals for uttering the elitist adjective of "true" and risking being labeled as a troll but we get these kinds of topics on a regular basis that I am sick of sucking up to the political correct view that we are either too complicated to categorize separately or that we are all just one big variant of the depressed case. (albeit I have been misdiagnosed and fed the wrong drugs and finally found a psychiatrist that could accept that one can be suicidal without being depressed) Good luck posters. Hopefully the religious argument would not have derailed you from eventually getting to this post. In case ashbusstop is missing, I recently read from Think Like a Freak of the name Dave Lester. Not quite sure how legit he is because he is yet again an outsider looking in but the quote he was referenced to did give me confidence that he is one expert that does not have his head up in his ass with regards to debates about mood medicines and so on and so forth. Oh and there was this one pattern that showed Asians particularly South Koreans as being more prone to work related suicide but I am not sure if it is worth investigating. That's the gamut of my info regarding this topic that is not based on personal opinion but hooefully this helps. (p.s. I am Asian but not Korean.)
