Peyton's point of view: You know that feeling you get when you're waiting for an answer from someone? Well that's how I was feeling now. My heart was racing and all I could hear was this little voice saying shes never gonna take you back. I kept looking at Kate expectantly but she never said anything. I was about to say something when Garrett came up behind me and said,"Peyton come on we got more to sing." I looked at Kate and she nodded to me and said,"I'll wait until you're finished." I nodded and went back on the stage and said,"Sorry for walking off the stage like that. I'll make sure it wont happen again." I looked at Garrett and he got to his mic and said,"Now we're gonna play a Luke Bryan song. Here's me and my brother with Drunk on You by Luke Bryan." I saw her a little ways away talking to the guy she was with, and they both seemed upset. Garrett and I sang two more songs before Kate came back over, but the guy she was with didnt come back, instead, he walked towards the midway. I looked at Kate questioningly and she just shook her head.
Peyton's point of view: Garrett and I played the rest of our set and when we finished I put my guitar up and started making my way towards Kate. On my way I got stopped by just about everyone that was there and they kept telling my how great me and my brother sounded and I told them thanks and then started back to going to Kate. I finally got to her and she was talking with Julie, with her back turned towards me, and I came up behind her quietly and wrapped my arms around her and put my head on her shoulder and I whispered in her ear,"I've missed you Kate." She turned her hear towards me and I could see tears in her eyes, but she was smiling, and then she turned all the way around in my arms and whispered,"I've missed you too Peyton." I let out a relieved sigh and put my forehead against hers and whispered,"I really want to kiss you right now."
Kate's point of view: Did Peyton really say what I think he just said?! I couldn't speak. I couldn't think. Peyton just told me he wanted to kiss me and I knew without a doubt that I wanted to kiss him as well. We were soul mates and we loved each other deeply. After what seemed like forever, I finally spoke and said,"Then do it." The next thing I knew was Peyton gave me a huge smile and wrapped his arms tightly around me and kissed my lips so hard and passionately that it felt like he wanted to fuck me right there. His lips were hot and I could feel his tongue running over my lips and it just made me melt. I automatically wrapped my arms around his neck and I felt him bend down a bit and then lift me off the ground. I wrapped my legs around him and he held me tight against his body and when we finally pulled away he smiled at me with that incredibly charming smile and whispered,"Let's go somewhere so we can be alone."
