I plan on doing a Christmas chapter, first thing in the morning. I'll wall you all once it's up. Merry Christmas!
He helped her up with gentle hands and a warm smile. She lowered her gaze out of shyness and accepted his help up from the cold white snow. " Kinda like how it was back then eh? ", He remarked in amusement and touched her cheek with his fingertips. She closed her eyes half way in content. More than happy to stay close to him for awhile longer. She squeaked softly, when he suddenly pulled her in to a strong embrace. His light cologne reached her nose. He smelled like sandal wood and forest. It now became her favorite scent. She wrapped her arms around him, locking the memory away to her secret treasure box. He slowly released her and took a step back, " I have to return before my parents send the Calvary out to search for us. " She nodded solemnly and stepped back, " I understand. You should get back then.." He threw his scarf around her and pulled her back in again. His arms found their way around her again. His face hidden in her long soft blonde hair. He loved the smell of cherry blossoms on her. " Meet me here tonight, not a minute after midnight. Please? ", He pleaded softly and moved back enough to secure his royal blue scarf around her neck. She blushed a light pink and gazed up at him, " I'll be here waiting for you. " He smiled softly and kissed her forehead. Just like that, he squeezed her hand and walked away. She turned her head to watch him walk away from her. It stung a little, the thought of him leaving. Though it was quickly replaced with the thought of his return. She hummed softly to herself and turned on her heel. Her boots swishing through the snow with every step. Her fingers stroked the soft silky material around her neck. He left her his scarf, a token of his grand affection. She rubbed her cheek against it and giggled. It really was soft and it held his scent. She returned home only to curl up in bed with his scarf and a smile on her face. Not bothering to answer her mother's questions about the mood change, or new apparel she sported. Lee sat in the carriage ride home in silence. Deep in thought and a hidden grin. His warm hazel eyes drifted to stare out the window. He blocked everything out, especially the loud clumping sound of horse shoes. His sister glanced over at him with a smile. It was a big change, a wonderful one. She sighed lightly and leaned her cheek against the cold glass of the window. She hoped it would last. She dreaded seeing that horrible red head again and her brother's scowling and moping. " Please angels, take pity and allow two lovers to be together after so much pain has become them. ", She whispered softly out to the cold winds outside their carriage.
