Thank you for finally listening ๐ญ only took a million mistakes. These are the kinds of events that inspire people to spend and keep playing. Drops are great for everyone and love that theyโre based on your hits. The misc being untradable but very fairly easy to get is 10/10. The Avis are cute. Leaderboard for the people who are competitive and do want to spend for the more exclusive stuff like a t100 499 and Avis. A cute furni thatโs fairly easy to get for everyone while being capped at 1 is perfect. Plua extra decor boxes to dump extra drops into in hopes of some cute furni. I believe this is the first good and fair new event in years.
Either they changed their minds about potd/ppotd or we will be seeing some lite boxes and free blossoms
Fix should be live now. We have begun rolling out comps for missing Spring in Bloom event drops. We expect this to be completed over the next couple of hours. Thank you for your patience while we sorted this out. <3
With the event starting to come to a close, I'll share a few final thoughts. Overall I really did enjoy this event. I feel like I was actually able to achieve things with effort rather than money spent. It was a refreshing change. The variety of rewards was also nice to see. Avis we've never had before, some avis that we have, misc and even a desk slot furni item. The decor boxes to be bought with blossoms took too many blossoms to save for when getting misc was much more enticing, but I did also like the variety of decor boxes we got at the 15.4k blossom reward tier. That's something free/mostly free to play players rarely get the chance to earn. The leaderboard for those that wanted to spend gave them something to work towards while not leaving the rest of us feeling left out or like we just get the scraps that fall off the table.
I'm ngl here ATA, I thought I was done bothering to give yall indepth feedback after the last time. I was so sick of yelling into the void in an effort to advocate for the community. But yall really did it this time. & I'd be doing all this for the wrong reasons if I only ever spoke up when its a complaint. This xc mini event is really good in a very rounded way and I'd like to share the specifics I noticed it in. Everything is accessible for free to play players. Everything. The only people who should be struggling from this event are the new players who haven't had a chance to get a hold of the game mechanics. I was horribly sick this past week and still managed to reach the xc rewards on my main and smol accounts with just a little bit of bothering to do so while I was over the worst of it. Our club did a few ec parties but I didn't feel like I had to run off and book a session or do any flashing just to reach the final goalpost. I like this from a mini-event. It shouldn't demand a player to do anything outside of their regular gameplay to participate in and receive all the rewards. Our regular hunts and side stories are already quite demanding in pushing people to learn the game mechanics and "optimize" their gameplay. You added a leaderboard for the players who did want to push themselves, and I love the tiers that you did for it. t1000 getting a stat, t250 a 499 and t100 getting a VIP version of the new-released avis I think are excellent brackets. Keeping 999s out of the leaderboard and making this event only 1 week long also feels very fair. It's really disappointing when xc leaderboards are all the same people who are going for a hunts leaderboard and you feel like if you want to chase one you have to chase both. I stress again, 1 week for this felt perfect. Enough time for the casual players to collect the main tier rewards and the leaderboard chasers to make a gameplan. The 5 tier rewards of this xc I think are also very well set up. The first 4 being bonus blossoms to spend in the shop on items that are largely locked to your account (avis/stats) and the 5th final tier, the "you did it you crossed the finish line" being old decore boxes from PIMD's past makes everything so accessible. Collecting one of each thing was so achievable and as a player that really feels good. Everyone getting decore boxes also helps lower the prices of all that furni so even if you didn't get what you wanted from one box it's so easy to trade with other players for the stuff you did. Or buy it if you really need all of it because all of it costs less. The desk that isn't locked to a players account you made cheap to get and limited to one per account. So all the alt reseller accounts can't resource hoard them even to sell as recycle items. But they still can be recycled so players who are collecting a lot of blossoms can still put them to use! I think this is the best possible way to go about this problem. If 499/999 rewards become this accessible it might make upgrading a dorm to lvl20 for pvp a bit broken but I'm not mad at all about it being a desk or smaller. It's actually quite the break on the grueling climb of leveling a dorm. The extra decore boxes in the shop if you want to grind for a furni set being astronomically higher in price is also great. I got one of each already, I don't feel like I'm being punished for not spending ec on this event. But the option to try the box again if I play the game extra? Yeah that absoloutly motivates me to spend a reasonable amount of ec (19ec) for a booster. I didn't, so I can't say how using one was, but 2h for x2 the blossoms sounds fair to me for that price point and reward collection needed. Having seperate blossoms for leaderboard tracking and reward getting also feels good as a player. It all ties in with the above. I have litterally no complaints about this xc event. More than that I specifically want more content like this. This was fun! I had fun! This is the whole point of games! I'd like to see a variety of content for this xc to surround, be it the seasons, the holidays around the world(as long as it's not doubled with a holiday hunt), or just something silly for more fun!
I can't edit my above but I also meant to touch on the scaling of drops per party (potd/ppotd/kini/cat/dog) I wasn't feeling well enough to dive into the math of it and see how the drop booster stacked with jets/VIP boosts as well, but I did see them scaling based on the difficulty/ primeium of parties and assume all boosters stack as they normally do. We did a few prieumim parties in our club as well as the usual p/potd and the event definitely had the gears turning on what was best to to run for rewards especially with the pro drop being active for this hunt. I also saw lots of event clubs cooking things up. From where I was the scaling of it all felt really good for the price point of rewards. This was definitely an event that brought the community together ๐ I love that for us.
