  9. Riddle awoke with the strange sensation that she was being watched. Her eyes snapped open, and with a scream she fell right out of the old, ratty chair and onto the dirtied floor. She jumped to her feet, alert. She had sworn that there were at least five faces above her own when she had opened her eyes. But now all she saw was darkness, and the small stream of light that came in from the window. She knew someone was there. She could feel them watching, lurking in the shadows of the not-so-abandoned abandoned building. She stared into the darkness, looking for any sign of life. "Hello?" She whispered, and started as a rustle came from behind her. She spun around. Nothing.
Suddenly, she felt someones strong arms on her. They bound her hands behind her back, quickly, with a rope. Or some kind of string. A face popped up in front of her. One of the faces that had been watching her when she woke up. She opened her mouth to speak, but the girl knocked her right off her feet. She lay on the ground, held down by the same strong arms that had bound her hands, a few moments earlier.
"Easy, Rona" A males voice said, and boy appeared above her. She was about her age, just as the girl had been, and they both had sandy brown hair and shockingly blue eyes. They looked like twins. "She's an imposter, Rogue. Shes probably a spy, too" The girl scrutinized her face, squinting at her as if SPY was hidden somewhere in her eyes.
"I'm not a spy" Riddle hissed. Were they working for the government? No, they were too young.
"Then who are you?" The boy holding her down from behind asked. His face popped in front of her. "What's your name?"
    "Why are you here?"
They all shot questions at her, and she responded by punching the boy hovering above her square in the nose and jumping up. She ran for the door, which was a challenge since her wrists were still tied together. She did a wobble-dance to the door, and right as she reached it, realized she couldn't open it. Her hands were bound.
She cursed out loud and looked behind her. The girl, Rona was doubled over laughing, Rogue looked like he was trying to figure out if she was mental, and the boy she had punched was holding his nose, trying to stop the bleeding. Two more strangers had appeared out of the darkness and their faces were cracked into smiles.
"She's is so not a spy", Rona confirmed.

  10. Opinions?

  11. Short update.
Riddle glared at the group, wanting nothing more to be out of there. She struggled against the rope binding her hands together. "Just untie me, Amd I'll be on my way" She demanded. "I was only going to stay for the night"
"Why did you come here in the first place?" The boy she decked questioned. She sighed. "I didn't have anywhere else to go" She didn't offer any more of an explanation.
"Well you can't go" Rona said. "You've already seen us, and where we stay. You're dangerous"
Riddle scoffed. "I won't tell anyone. Just let me leave, please." What was this? Who were they hiding from?
    "No. You can't leave. Ever."
And that was the end of that topic.
"Anyway" Rogue said. "I'm Rogue. This is Rona." He motioned to his sister. "That's Dell, Lee, and Renn."

  13. Riddle had come to confirm that Rogue was the leader of this strange group. He seemed to have that confident air around him, he knew what he was doing. And he was always bossing everyone around. He had told Riddle that she could continue using the chair as her bed, and that Rona and Lee slept on the couch and chair next to it. Dell and Rogue slept in the next room over. Apparently this was once a hotel, and Riddle, Rona, and Lee slept in the lobby while Dell and Rogue slept in the main office. Every other room they left for ruin.

She slumped down in the chair, frustrated. Rona had explained to her what would happen if she tried to escape. It wasn't pleasant. She stared longingly at the door. She had to figure something out. She couldnt just stay here, with these strangers. They could be murderers, running from the FBI! She sat up, and glanced into the room behind her, the one they had disappeared into. No one was even watching...They wouldn't even notice if she slipped out.
Riddle stood, and brushed the dust off her shirt, edging towards the door. She could make a run for it, and be gone before anyone even noticed.
Instead, she walked casually to the door and twisted the knob. The old door swung upon.
