Part 9: Carter's Point of View "Have I ever told you how much I love you?" I said randomly as I smiled up at Taylor. We were watching a movie, I had my head resting in her lap. Her green eyes shifted so she was looking at me. Taylor shook her head. We both knew that that was a lie. I tell her everyday. "To the world, you are one. But to one, you are the world." I sat up and took her face in my hands. My lips pressed gently against hers. I pulled away and set my forehead down against hers. Her breathing was hitting my neck. "You're my world." I whispered and kissed her cheek. I got up of the couch, she raises an eyebrow at me. "I have to go get something." A smile crept onto my face as I ran up the stairs. I grabbed the picture frame and put it behind my back. My feet shifted and I rocked back and forth. Heel to toe. "Pick a hannnd." A cheeky grin spread across my face. Taylor rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Uhm .. left." I groaned. "How do you always know which hand?!" I whined at her. A look of amusement spread over her face. "You're ambidextrous, but you prefer your left hand for some reason." I nodded. Fair enough. My hand held out the picture frame to her, she gasped and looked at it. I put it in her hands, an odd expression came over her face. I couldn't tell what I was. "Baby, what is it?" A tear rolled down her cheek. I felt a pain in my heart as I went to wipe it away. Taylor turned her face away from me. She set the picture frame down on the table, more tears rolled down her cheeks. It took all I had not to wipe them away. I got up off the floor and went to sit beside her. I felt her body shake as I held her tightly in my arms. "Shh baby, it's okay." Her head shook against my chest. "Tay, what's wrong?" Her green eyes looked into mine. "C-Carter." She choked. "I t-think we should b-break up." My whole entire body froze. I quickly shook the thought out of my mind. "N-no baby, no don't." I held her tighter, I could feel my heart. It was like someone ripped it out and ran over with a giant truck. "Shh. You're talking crazy." Taylor shook her head and pushed me away while getting up. "I'm sorry Carter." A final tear rolled down her cheek. "I-I should just uhm .. go.." She walked out the front door, leaving me on the couch. A broken heart, a confused mind, and an aching soul.
To Sami: Yes, you're gonna be in the story very soon! To Taylor: She has a very good reason for why she *ahem* broke Carter's heart.
