  1. Part 6: Mason's Point of View

I woke up the next day and did my usual daily routine. Showered, threw on random clothes. Made sure I looked amazing, which I always did.

My phone vibrated on the bed. I glanced over and saw I ha a new text message.

    From Aubree:
I had a great time last night.  Thanks Mason!

I rolled my eyes and threw my phone back down. She was such a wh*re. I'm pretty sure she's f*cked every guy on the soccer team and basketball team except Carter. I wouldn't be surprised if she had an STD.

On my way to school, I saw Carter's car drive by me. They drove right past, but then the car screeched to a stop and reversed itself.

"Do you need a ride?" I heard Jenna's voice. A smirk grew on my face.

"If you want to ride me, sure. Any day." I winked.

The driver's door opened and a very angry looking Carter popped out. "Watch what you say to my sister, you f*cking tool!" He was inches away from my face.

"You know she wants me." I smirked. His fingers were curled into a fist. But I knew he wouldn't hit me. "Come at me bro." I loved taunting him. I could see him face turn bright red.

His feet took a step closer to me, trying to prove his superiority. I took a step forward as well. We were the same height, I could feel his anger radiating out of him. "You are so lucky I don't fight in front of girls." He took one more small step forward. "I would beat you so bad that you cry for your mom." I rolled my eyes. Like she would even come.

My eyes shifted over to Jenna in the front seat. "No thanks. I'm fine walking."

Carter stood his ground as I moved around him, continuing on my way to the school.

I shut my locket and found Jenna leaning up against the next one, hugging her books. "Well well well. Look who's here. Where's your brother?" I looked around for him.

Her eyes were glued down at her books. "He's with Taylor, walking her to class." I heard a sigh escape her lips. "Either way," Blue-ish green eyes shown in my direction. "As mug as I hate it, it's my job to tutor you. Come over again after school. Try not to be late."

She spun on her heels and went to leave. "It's Friday. I'm going to a party in Seattle."

She turned back around to face me. "What time is the party?" I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"Whenever I get there. Why?" She didn't answer my question immediately. Instead, it looked as if she was thinking hard about something. I saw her start to bite her bottom lip. Not gonna lie, it turns me on when girls do that.

"Just come to my house, we'll work there for a while." She bit down harder on her lip and forced her forced eyes shut. "Then I'll come with you and keep quizzing you on things in the car." A sigh of relief escaped her lips, like she was glad she had gotten it out and over with.

A smirk formed on my face. "If you're gonna party with me, you have to wear something hot. Sophomore."

  3. Part 7: Jenna's Point of View

I tapped my pencil on the edge of the counter, occasionally glancing at the clock, checking the time. He was late. Again. I'm going to have to tell Mr. Palin that I can't deal with his cockiness. He does not show up on time, and when he does his ego is standing in the way of us actually getting anything done.

I heard the door open. I turned to look and saw Mason just walking right into my house. "How about you knock?" I spat.

"How about you stop being so uptight?" He retorted back.

"Where were you?" I asked. If he was late, he needed a reason.

"Detention. Where else? And what's with you and asking questions? You're not my mother." I rolled my eyes.

"And I thank god for that." He raised his eyebrows with a look of amusement on his face. "What do you even do to get so many detentions?"

"Mr. Robinson." Was all he said for an explanation. Mr. Robinson doesn't take crap from anyone. He can dish it, but he doesn't take it.

"Fine whatever. Just. Let's get started."

Mason and I were at the party now, it was really awkward. I was in the corner, sitting on the couch with a drunk guy across my lap. I tried to shove him off but he wouldn't budge.

"Do you want to .. go upstairs?" I turned a saw a girl playing with Mason's fingers. He seems to be playing attention to everyone but her, but when she said that his black eyes went straight into hers.

"No, not really." I was shocked. This girl obviously wanted to get in his pants and he just rejected her? That's a first. His face leaned forward, it looked like he was going to kiss her neck.

She pulled away and looked like she was going to smack somebody. Did he just whisper something into her ear? I watched as her gaze shifted to me and a death glare was shot in my direction. "Wh*re." She mouthed.

My eyes widened and I quickly turned around. Mason was standing right in front of me with his hands out. I raised an eyebrow. "What?" I asked.

"Take my hands." His lips were barely moving.

I looked at him like he was crazy, he IS crazy. "Um no."

He sighed. "God damn it Jenna! Why are you so f*cking stubborn?!" He hissed. My eyes glared a hole into his.

"Why are you such an inconsiderate prick?!" I retorted. His hands grabbed mine and pulled me up, almost making the drunk guy fall to the floor.

"I need you to do something for me. I won't get a detention all of next week if you do this for me and I'll even pay attention while you're tutoring me." A smirk grew on my face. I could get used to that.

"Deal." I said. "What do I have to do?"

"I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend."
