  11. Part 32: Jenna's Point of View

I stood behind the corner, still on the stairs and listened to my dad. He sighed in frustration. "Josh. You can't lose your son! That's like the number one rule of parenthood." He ran his hands through his hair. "He hasn't come home since you told him? Well, he came over here, wanting to see Jenna. He seemed really upset.."

Mason came to my house? To see me? I felt my heart flutter in my chest. Where had I been?

"Don't blame this on Jenna, Josh! It's not her fault. She was at Sydney's house. Do you have any idea where he could be?" I knew that he didn't.

My feet carried me into the kitchen. Dad had been pacing back and forth, when he saw me he froze. "Josh. I have to go. I'll call you later."

The phone was placed on the table. "Good morning, angel." He greeted. I could tell in his eyes that he was extremely stressed out, Carter got the same look. "Can I do anything for you?"

I shook my head. "I'm just getting some food." I laughed when he rolled his eyes.

"You're lucky you have a fast metabolism. You eat a lot." He laughed.

"Dad?" He looked up from the papers he was shuffling, looking at me unexpectedly. "What's going on with Uncle Josh?"

His eyes immediately filled with concern, worry. I knew he was contemplating whether or not to tell me. "Mason is missing." He cleared his throat. A nervous habit. Dad and Carter were twins. I swear. "He has been for a week, ever since last Saturday. Josh has no idea where he could be.."

My mind frantically searched for something to say. A light went off in my head.

    "Dad, I have an idea."
