Part 30: Jenna's Point of View Mason wasn't in school all week. It was Friday and I still had no idea where he was. He would have called, right? I mean, after Saturday I think he kind of owed me that. I was upstairs in my room, drawing aimlessly on my notebook. My eyes shifted closer and I realized I was drawing a portrait of Mason. The portrait fell from my hands, not bothering to pick it up. I went into Carter's room. "Hey, sis!" He smiled at me. I sat down on the bed and he pulled me into a hug. "You look sad." He said while studying my face. "What's wrong?" I shook my head. "Nothing. It's just, Mason .. he hasn't been in school all week and he hasn't even texted me or called me." Carter rolled his eyes. "You're seriously getting upset over that dirtbag? Jen," Only Carter is allowed to call me Jen. "You can't get hung up on this guy. He's bad news." I looked down and played with my fingers. "Maybe there's more to him than people give him credit for.." Carter shrugged. "What about Owen? I wouldn't mind Owen. He's cool." I laughed at his obvious attempt to set me up with Owen again. "Carter, I don't like Owen!" The millionth time I told him this. "Yeah I know." He chuckled. "I just want someone who's good to you. Not an as*hole." I sighed. "How's Sami?" I asked. A large grin spread on his face. "As beautiful as ever." "You guys are so cute!" I laughed. His eyes always light up when he's talking about her. "You know, it was Mason's idea to set you guys up.." I said trailing off. He cocked an eyebrow. "Was it?" I nodded. "I'll be sure to thank him then." I got off of his bed. "I'm going to go downstairs and make some food. Do you want anything?" He shook his head and took his phone out of his pocket. My feet carried me downstairs bit I stopped abruptly when I heard my Dad's voice. He never swears. "Josh! What the f*ck do you mean 'You can't find him'?!"
