  5. Part 2: Mason's Point of View

"Mason! Why can't you be more like Colton?!" My dad yelled at me from downstairs. They had just gotten my report card, no doubt.

"Colton is a f*ckt*rd!" I yelled back. I looked into the mirror at what I was wearing. Basketball shorts, Jordans, and a Just Do It shirt. I fixed my jet black hair so it had a nice flow to it. My eyes were black too. They were weird, and slightly sketchy.

"Don't you talk about your brother like that!" I heard my mom yell.

I rolled my eyes and walked downstairs. Dad stood up and faced me. "Seriously Mason. You can't keep failing your classes!" I smirked at him and took a bite of an apple.

"Rumor has it you almost didn't graduate pops. I wouldn't be talking." Fury shown deeply in my dad's eyes.

"That's why I want you to do better Mason! Don't just flunk through like I did."

I put my backpack on over my shoulders and walked outside, flipping them off on the way out.

It always took a while to walk to school, but I liked it. It gave me time to think. I arrived at school as soon as the bell rang. I walked into my first period class five minutes later.

I walked into math class and sat down in my seat. "How kind of you to join us, Mr. Parker." Mr. Johnson smirked at me and passed back my quiz. 56%. Better than last week. "Might I suggest a tutor?"

I smirked right back at him. "Might I suggest a blowup doll?" His face turned red with anger. He pointed to the door.

"Office." He said through gritted teeth.

"Aye aye, captain." I said as I saluted him.

I walked into the office and plopped down in my chair. "In here again Mr. Parker?" The vice principal, Mrs. Byrne said.

"Looks like it." I replied with a shrug. I'm in here everyday. If a day goes by without me getting sent to the office, I obviously skipped school.

"What did you do this time?" She asked. I smirked, Mrs. Byrne loves knowing what I do. She thinks it's hysterical.

"I told Mr. Johnson he should get a blowup doll." She gasped which made me laugh. "What? He obviously needs to get laid."

"That's disrespectful, Mason." I shrugged again.

"Like I give a flying f*ck." She was about to reprimand me for swearing when our principal stuck his head out. Mr. Robinson and I go waaay back.

"Come on Mason, your seat is waiting for you." He grumbled. That's right. I had my own chair in the principal's office. I sat down with a blank look on my face. They can punish me as much as they want. It won't change me. "Look Mason, I don't know what you're looking for. Attention or what." I scoffed. They always think all I want is attention. "But it has got to stop! You've been suspended six times, you have a detention almost everyday. You're lucky Mr. Frederick likes you or else your as* would be out of my school!" Mr. Frederick is our basketball coach. Of course he likes me, I'm the best post player my school has ever seen.

I smirked at him. "Maybe that's what I'm going for."

He shook his head. "No, it's not Mason. You're a good kid. You just don't have a drive to do anything." it was my turn to shake my head. I f*cking hate adults. They think they know everything.

"That must be it." I replied.

"Look Mason, the Honor's Society is setting you up with a tutor. Try to be nice." I groaned.

"F*ck tutors. She better be hot." Mr. Robinson shot me a disappointed look. It's not like I've never seen one of those before.

"Language." I held my hands up in surrender. "Your tutor is Jenna Bennett."

"You've got to be f*cking kidding me! She's a SOPHOMORE! I'm a senior! How does that work?!"

He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "Jenna is a very smart young lady." Yeah, and she has a stick shoved up her as*. So does her little dumb f*ck of a brother. "You will do as she says or else no basketball, and I will have no choice but to expel you."

I groaned. "Can I go now?" He looked up from his papers.

"Detention after school. You are dismissed."

"Great." I faked a smile and left the room. Walking down the hallways felt great.

I was a king. Aubree came up to me and gave me a big kiss, followed by Rachel. They're both little wh*res. I've f*clef both of them though. They were two I could always count on.

"Mason! You ditched us last night." Aubree said while pouting. She honestly disgusts me. Her fingers walked up my chest as she clung to my side.

"Yeah. We were having dinner with my older brother. My parents would have flipped sh*t if I didn't go." Rachel stuck her bottom lip out and her hand drifted down to my shorts.

"Well, then you'll have to make it up to us later." They each kissed my cheek before running off with each other towards their next class.

I was fully convinced they were lesbians, but who am I to judge. I started walking to my next class, but I saw that Jenna girl. My feet stopped and I leaned my body against the locker, next to hers.

"Looks like you're the school's new attempt at 'fixing' me." I smirked at her when I saw her body tense up. "Aw, babe. Don't feel nervous around me." I said and lightly stroked her cheek.

She quickly swatted my hand away. "I'm not thrilled about it, trust me. However, I have to. Be at my house today at 4. Don't be late."

Too bad detention doesn't end until 4:30.
