I think today, but I don't know what time. Maybe late in the afternoon..? I'll continue the story, no worries!
Part 16: Josh's Point of View "Ali .. babe. When are we going to tell him?" Ali looked up from her book. "What?" She asked. "Mason, when are we going to tell him he's adopted? He can't go on thinking .. What if he wanted to meet his actual parents? I mean, he must wonder why he doesn't love gummy sharks!" "I think you should tell him next weekend, Dad." Sheldon said. He was 23 now. It was insane how fast he grew. My little boy was already f*cking in college. He had his own bag of gummy sharks in his hand. "I mean, that's when I would do it." I nodded. "Ali, thoughts?" She looked up from her book. "Whatever Josh. Do what you want." "Colton, let's go get more gummy sharks. We're running low." He got up and grabbed his car keys. "See ya mom." "Bye, Mrs. Parker." I said as I shut the door. Mason's Point of View My arm was still around Jenna's shoulders. I hadn't even realized I put it there. "Yeah." I said looking at Jenna. "Something like that." Sami turned my attention back towards her. "Okay! When?" She asked. I smiled at her. "Tomorrow?" I could feel Jenna tense up beside me. "Does that not work for you?" I asked. "I just uhm well you see.." She stuttered. "I normally do my homework on Sundays.." I smirked. "Do you think you could do it tonight instead? Or, we just wouldn't go with them if you rather. We can study while they go out." She nodded. "Yeah. 'Cause uh .. You're still not done with your homework either." She said. It's true, I wasn't. We were going to leave the house, two hours later. Jenna was already in the car. I was talking to Sami. "Seriously Mason. I can see the way you look at her." I rolled my eyes. "I look at her like I look at every other girl. You're going crazy Sam." I shrugged it off. "No you don't!" She didn't give up very easily. "You look at girls like they're just toys. Something you can f*ck and then be done with. You look at her like you actually care about her feelings." I shook my head. "You're insane. Of course I don't care." "Mason Parker! Don't you lie to me! I know you like this girl." I didn't. Did I? No. No, I don't. "Sami, you might be right." I admitted. Did I really just admit that? "But either way," I licked my lips. "She's just my tutor. Nothing more."
