The heavens have answered my prayers! (angelic music plays) AHHHHH! BUMP BUMP! I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW, LIKE IM JUMPING UP AND DOWN.
Raine's POV I watched as Grandma took my things from the house and put them in her car. She didn't look back at the house once. She looked at me when she notched me staring at her. She smiled sweetly. "Grandma?" "Yes Raine?" "Is Daddy busy again? I mean... he's always so busy doing his work and stuff... Is that why he has never has time to see me?" I asked. I looked at the house once more before getting into her car. She turned away. "I don't know. Your father is just a crude and terrible man," she said. She then quickly looked at me. "Haha. Oh don't mind me, I was talking to myself..." I smiled. "Ah... okay!" As we left the street I sighed. Was my Daddy really as bad as Grandma had said? Did he even love me? "Grandma?" I said quietly. I looked at my hands. "Yes?" "Does Daddy love me?" She didn't answer me. She kept her eyes on the road and she looked somewhat disturbed by the question. She then looked in the rear view mirror at me and smiled. "Grandma?" "I'm sure your father loves you very much, I'm sure of it so don't worry," she said. "Okay..." I said in a satisfied tone. I looked out the window. Even though I was only six years old... I knew when someone wasn't being truthful. And I could tell that Grandma was lying... "Is something wrong Raine?" "Huh? Nope!" I said grinning. "Nothing is wrong! Hey Grandma, how long am I staying with you this time?" I asked. "Only a week. Maybe more, maybe less. Depending on how long your father works." "Oh. I see..." I said. So he didn't want to see me after all. Sending me away like this... "Daddy... what are you thinking...?" I whispered quietly. "What are you thinking..."
RAFE YOU UTTER JACKASS! Although I dunno how it must feel for him, so maybe his behavior can be excused...
