I'm sorry guys! I lost my iPod last week at school and I couldn't fin it until now!!! But I'll be updating when I get home today from school!! I'm very sorry!!!
No way! My father had agreed with my mother! He wanted me to marry Lyle! "What... what are you saying?!" I demanded. "You want me to marry that as*hole?! Why?!" I shouted. "Does nobody get that I don't want to do this?" "Please, Katherine. It's good for the company if you do this," he said softy. "Good for the company?! Are you really saying that? Are you really saying that if I marry some random person that it'll help the company? So you don't care if I'm happy... just as long as you have good business." "That's not what I'm saying..." "Then what are you saying?" He didn't respond so I bit my lower lip to refrain myself from crying and quickly ran past him. I ran up to my room and threw myself onto the bed. "Damn it! Why me?" I sobbed. "Katherine?" It was my mother's voice. "Go away! I don't want to talk to you!" "Please don't be like this. We only want what's best for the family. Please just help us with this." "You want what is best for only yourselves. You don't care if I'm in an unhappy marriage, just as long as you are happy with the company and the money. "That's not what we want..." "Bull sh*t!! That's exactly what you want you selfish woman!" I shouted. I heard her let out a sigh and start crying. "Damn it..."
"I'll do it. I'll marry him." My parents who were sitting in the living room turned to look at me. My mother looked like she was going to spring up and hug me. And my father let out a huge sigh. "You finally get what you want," I said and I turned and left the room. "Katherine!" my father came running after me. He hugged me tight. "I don't want you to be angry. I'm doing this for everyone in this family. Please understand." I burst into tears. "I don't want to do this!" I sobbed. "I want to marry someone I love!" "Don't you love Lyle?" My eyes widened. Sure I always felt my heart race around him... but did I love him? "Y... Yes," I said although I felt like I was lying to myself. "Yes. I love Lyle," I said quietly. "You see. It won't be that bad," he said lightly kissing the top of my head. "You will be happy." Before he left I grabbed his arm. "Wait... I'm only sixteen... Am I getting married now?!" "Yes." He left me standing there shocked. I was going to be married... before I was seventeen! Damn it! This wasn't going to go well! "You accepted my proposal?" asked Lyle. He had asked to meet up at a local restaurant after my parents contacted his family about the marriage. "Yes." "Are you happy?" he asked. "Do you want to marry me?" "No." "Then why?" "It'll help my family... My parents want so badly to be the best. I just want them to be happy and to be a good daughter." "I see..." "I'm sorry," I said getting up to leave. "I love Mr.Cartier... I will marry you, but realize I will never love you the way I love him. Please forgive me," I said softly before I left him in the restaurant.
