Who are you even talking too? Corporal made it seem like he didn't believe in Noah's Ark... what are you on about anyways?
Mmhm, ok, when you say "God did it" when someone ask you a question about religion, you sound like you have no clue and all you do is use blind faith when you don't even know if half this is even real.
Lund, just let the thread die please. We all have a date with Death, all your questions will be answered then.
If you're looking for a scientific explanation, you're not going to find it. That's why there's faith.
Do you realise how big the boat must have been to cater for 2 of every species plus their food? Plus the fact most would have gone extinct by being unable to reproduce through inbreeding? And that one family had to build an entire boat from scratch that big? How long would that have taken? God must have warned him about 40 years in advance.
No there are some things called Angels which helped him build it. Even if any of the animals, bugs and insects had gone extinct, you think it's hard for God to re create them again? Read and learn son. If you don't that's fine, one day you'll see it all.
maybe noahs ark was one of many. but we only heard his story because he wouldnt shut up about it. the other saviors were modest lol
If you believe in God that's fine, I have no problem with that, I sometimes wish I had faith. I just think you should take these stories with a pinch of salt, they seem highly illogical.
Things seem illogical to a person when they don't have the proper knowledge to comprehend things. I don't know your situation on belief or if you even believe in God, but if you don't then anything anyone says to you would sound made up or just plain bull. It all depends on your background.
That's true but at the same time science is all around us and proving things yet you choose to ignore this and believe something that isn't a physically possible. It's ok saying I can't comprehend because I'm not religious but you or anyone for that matter aren't in a position to understand it any better than me just because you have faith.
I never said i ignore science. But there are people who want to prove using science that there is no God, which they never will. Like i said earlier in this thread, there are many things known to religion that science is yet to discover.
Unfortunately, a man living to be 500 years old is not one of them, especially when you consider that the average decease age was around 35 back then.
Back then? Our lifespan became less and less during time. Adam (pbuh) lived for 930 years... What are you on about?
This is where you ignore the science. Due to better healthcare and a healthier more balanced diet it's proven, by archeological research, that our lifespan has risen over the centuries. Tortoises live to 120 years old which is the longest living animal, even the rarest of trees struggle to live 900 years plus, yet for some bizarre reason humans managed to out last that. I just find it baffling.
Better healthcare? People didn't eat the kind if crap we eat now back then, it was all natural. And i'm not talking a century or 2 ago.
