  1. The wintertime wonder isn't over yet! Join us for the next two weeks in an all-out snowball fight PVP event! #LEGGO.

Stay tuned for that noon phone call for a chance to participate in this optional PVP-based event and to win some very cool rewards: avatars, items, furniture and the like.

    PVP: Campus-Wide Snowball Battle

In addition to the main storyline, you will have the option to participate in a campus-wide snowball battle to earn bragging rights and eternal glory.

IF you accept this quest, you will randomly be put into one of 3 teams: Blue Team, Green Team and Red Team.

Once assigned, the goal is to collect the most points amongst three teams!

You will know which Team you're on based on the Flag you see in your Showcase:

    Team flags.

☞ Points are represented by the Snowball Fight Point trophy as seen below:

You can keep score of your team's progress on the Snowball Leaderboard.

    Winning Team Rewards
    ☞ The Top 100
Team Avatars + Special Stat Item

    ☞ The Top 750
    Team Avatars

Bear in mind that if you opt out of the PVP quest, you will not receive any of the PVP stories and therefore, are opting out of earning rewards from those stories! There will still be the main storyline but you might not want to miss out on super cool rewards. Jussayin'.

How to Attack an Enemy's Snow Fort

☞ There will be FOUR snow forts. Their names are NorthFort, EastFort, SouthFort, and WestFort. Each snow fort is a player represented by the snow men as shown below:

☞ You will need Snowballs to attack a snow fort. To create Snowballs, collect Piles of Snow from Parties and combine them with the Snowball Maker available for Cash in the Store.

    To claim a snow fort:
Attack the snow fort as you would any other player in-game. If you're playing, the forts will be the top 4 players in your "Meet People" list. Each Snowball thrown removes one Snow Brick from the fort. One for one. Balanced, as all things should be.

When there's no more Snow Bricks left on a fort, it can be captured. But the team that did the most damage to it will capture it, not the team that did the last hit!

    To attack other players:
You get points from attacking other players from opposing teams (you will still need Snowballs to count for points). You get a multiplier for the “kill shot” that makes an opposing player DTW and makes them immune to being attacked more. You also get a multiplier for each fort your team owns. The more snow forts your team claims, the more overall points you stand a chance of earning.

OK, hit me with that math
☞ 1 Successful Hit to a Player from an Enemy Team = 1 Point.
☞ Hit an enemy player when your team owns 1 fort = 3 Points.
☞ Hit an enemy player when your team owns 2 forts = 5 Points.
☞ Hit an enemy player when your team owns 3 forts = 6 Points.
☞ Hit an enemy player when your team owns 4 forts = 7 Points.

☞ You will only be able to have 300 Piles of Snow, 150 Snowballs, 150 Snow Bricks, and 150 each of the combiner items (Snowball Maker & Snow Brick Mold) at a time. No hoarding!

How to Defend Your Team's Snow Fort(s)

☞ Defending works the same way, but instead of hitting an enemy's snow fort with Snowballs, you hit your team's snow fort with Snow Bricks to build its health back up. Max bricks on a fort is 10k.

☞ When someone who doesn’t own the snow fort attacks it, it loses health, as shown below. You can regenerate its health by using Snow Bricks.

☞ Once another team destroys a snow fort and claims it (most damage = claim snow fort), they would need to hit it with bricks to rebuild it back up to full health.

☞ There will be a window of time where the claimed snow fort will be invulnerable to outside attacks so that the team that has just claimed it can build it back up in peace.

OK, but what about us PVP haters?

You can get boosts to help you party better! Each fort you own can be visited by doing a PVP action on it. You'll get a 10% cash boost for 1 hour. Each boost is unique to that fort, so if your team owns all four forts you can take a world tour and get a 40% boost total.

Refresh your boosts as often as you like. Well, so long as your team owns the fort. (You sure you don't wanna help capture it?)

    Avatar Preview!

Apart from the avis sneak-peeked above, here are a few others available! Check out the stories to see all that's available!

Update: Last Chance to Opt Out of PVP

We recognize that we should have communicated clearly that your cash is at risk if you decide to opt-in to PVP.

If you have opted-in and have now decided that you want out because life is way too hard for you, we will be accepting opt-out requests until January 17th, noon Pacific Time. Please send in your requests to our support team.

We will be opting-out players after the cut-off time. We will not be compensating for lost cash during this period.

Please note that your PVP stories will still remain on your account and you will NOT be able to finish it in any shape, way or form. You will not be able to make story progress nor receive PVP story rewards.

    Re: General Confusion About 'Frostbite'

    Hey fam!

Frostbite is a special event-specific condition that applies to accounts opted into PvP. It is not a replacement for DTW (“Defender Too Weak”), but it is related to it. When a player is made DTW by another player throwing Snowballs at them, specifically, they gain the “Frostbitten” condition. This lasts for 5 minutes, or until the frostbitten player attacks someone else in PvP. After that, the frostbite goes away, and they can be attacked again.

We have also removed the multiplier points you receive for putting someone DTW due to an exploit we've discovered.
