Okay in the picture the thing releasing red dots is the axon terminal, the red dots are ACH, ACH binds to a receptor the square thing once it binds Na+ rushes into the cell once NA+(sodium) rushes into the cell it sends an electrical signal known as an EPP. This Signal will start aAction potential known as an AP this electrical signal will go down the T-tubule the T-Tubule is an (invagi.nation)(definition of T-Tubule) and make its way to DHP receptor then open up the Ryannodine channel release Calcium (from the SR) this calcium will bind to tropoinin causing tropomyosin to slide off Actin exposing the Myosin Actin binding site, myosin and Actin will bind and cause a contraction. This should be what you see in the picture in a word form ?
Yes that is true the brain makes us move. skelatal muscle movement is important for the fact that because skealatal muscle is used for any voluntary movement you make for example walking, running picking up a pen, using your phone, breathing etc anything you can control your body to do. Your brain sends a signal to your muscles via Nerotransmitters.
Lol true brain goes hey body I need you to do this. Body say okay and if possible does do the movement lol
Interesting.... I'll study more about this. Give my brain something to do. Maybe do some researching on how the human body and nerves works.
Sounds good if you have any questions feel free to ask. I know this post may have confused more then help but I'm learning how to do forum posts I'll try to answer comments as best as possible.
Cool explanation but got a lot of grammar anyways I understood meds students don't care much bout grammatical error...physio students here...nice effort however the pics too small can't read anyways
I was trying to figure out why so much of this is familiar, and other parts aren't, when I realised it's about something I never learned in school. My understanding of this is very basic, so I understand the terminology for the most part. This is fascinating.
Im about to start my dentistry. This is what im going to learn in uni? Haha. My dad is Orthodontist who goes overseas to be speaker in international dental seminars& handson and handles alot of Western and foreign patients, he said dentistry doesnt study this complicated one, maybe you should divide them which one is for med, pt, dent.students? Btw nice thread, someday ill need your help with uni tasks : )
That may be true many dentist must take anatomy and physiology. I guess he only learned the structure of it and did not learn the function or he might have and could have forgotten. Even if he did not learn the process in which it occures he still had to learn of a portion of skelatal muscle. I just posted the whole thing here so everyone can have the full picture \^.^/
yup ? I,am a med student I know I will have grammer errors for 1 reason I want to get the information out on to forums I don't want to worry if I have the errors as long as my explanation tries to make it easier.
Your not dumb I just should have made the information more simpler then I already did or made to posts about it.
