I haven't had it yet, but I will tell you when I find out! The actual callback is at 3:30 but I wont find out for around another week.
Thanks! I have callbacks for flotsam/jetsam, flounder, scuttle, and sebastian...ironic...they're all boys...
The water tip is false. Make sure you mouth isn't dry but don't have five bottles of water to help keep it moist. when practicing or warming up sing out loud, helps make things more understandable for you and you can hear your current range. Whoa! You just got advice from a lyric soprano☆彡
Have fun with it, and do not be nervous! Please let us know how it goes
If you are nervous, focus on one inanimate object in the room, and pretend like its only you and that object in the room (works for me with this kind of stuff)
For all of those who were wondering...i got a part!!!!!! It's chef luise, and itz small but better than nothing! Im just glad im not in the chorus
This might be a little late for your the call back tip you asked.. But anyways, before singing , do warm ups. Literally, do excercise, bend your waist, your neck and excercise facial muscles.. Massage your jaw while acting like you are chewing a big gum..also do a lip trill, it's like doing a bubbling(swimming excercise) but of course only not in water.. Try lip trill from a low note to high note and vice versa. Next stick your tongue out as much as possible. This will lessen the tension during singing(you know that time where your tongue feels like it's curling up)..shout HEY! loudly as if you're calling out someone, from the diaphragm and not from the throat because that would hurt. And oh, try jogging in place while singing a piece, this would loosen up your voice because you'd have to force yourself to sing louder inorder to hit the right notes while jogging. These tips might sound funny but these are just some tips i learned during my lessons..and it helped me a lot.hope this will helo you too good luck lindsey
Hey even though this audition is over, that can help me in the future! Thanks so much! Everyone helped me so much
