Chapter 9 *Midnight* (keena) A chill ran up Keena's spine like a spider sliding up her back, she trembled, it was dark and Andy had left early. Her mum was out and she was alone in the house. She tried her best to sleep but something had made her on edge tonight. She decided to have a look around her room, her window was open and the blinds were fluttering, "no wonder im cold" she said to herself. After closing both she was about to turn around when she noticed something. There was someone outside, a dark figure much darker than the night, but they were very noticeable considering they had a scary look about them. Keena ran downstairs, she had a feeling she would need a bat so she grabbed it from under the stairs. She swung the door open ready to swing but she gasped at the sight which she hadn't expected , it was her friend Rose, she peeked out the door and looked both ways to check for people and then pulled her in. "Rose it's almost 1 in the morning ! What's up?" keena shouted. Rose put her hand round Keena's mouth, it's about Jake. *One hour later* Keena was still in disbelief and crying a couple of forced tears , "I didn't really like the guy, but seriously he is dead?!" Keena pondered, Rose's face looking shocked "'fraid so Hun." "Does Tyler know? I think they were good friends" Keena pondering again, rose replying "no the school had the caretaker look after him and he hasn't been picking up the phone for awhile now." Keena thought for a moment, taking this all in, thinking Tyler could be all alone in that cold room. She couldn't have been more wrong. *Back in the infirmary* Tyler hadn't stopped shaking all night, he pictured the evil figure he saw. Suddenly a shake came around the school and Tyler heard the fire exit laid outside fly open. "Just the wind he thought, just the wind" and he hid under the covers of the old bed for warmth. "c-c-c-reak" Tyler heard , very close he could hear the infirmary double doors flapping back and forth and he had to check it out, he looked out of the covers "ahh its just the wind" he inspected staring forward. Then a second crash came much closer and 4 boney fingers dropped onto his shoulder. With one blow to the head he was knocked unconscious....
Chapter 10 *Morning present day* "Wake up Tyler!" said a voice almost spitting at him. Tyler reacted on the third shout. "Where did he go?" Tyler said shaking. The person replyed "Tyler it's me Rose! There's no one else here" , Tyler soon anxious to get a word in "Zoe?! Where were you? We thought you left school." "I was kicked outta' school after the buisness with the gang, but that doesn't matter now, your in hospital, a tree came through last night and knocked you unconcious, they treated you though." Tyler remembered the events of last night, it had NOT happened the way Zoe had explained. *One hour later* Keena and Tyler's mum sat there with presents on the side of his bed waiting for him to wake up, but he wouldn't, so they had left a while earlier. "Time for your daily dose" the nurse said peering into the room, she set up the needle on the table and turned round. Tyler tryed to scream through the tape around his mouth. But it was no use, he hid under the pillows seeing only the shadow grabbing the nurse by the throat and hearing her scream as she choked. Tyler held onto the cover hard and gasped for air. Then the screaming stopped, and a large shadow cast over him, almost reaching him. But then another shadow appeared coliding into the first, he heard slithers and bites but then the first shadow dissapeared soon followed by the first. He jumped out of the covers trying to catch a glimse of his saviour ,but all he could see was the end of a jacket slide round the hall and dissapear. "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" he thought to himself wimpering, and "why wasn't he dead by now" he thought staring at the dead body lying there. And then he started to cry...
Chapter 11 Keena was with Andy in her bedroom, they were watching TV together. Some horror movie 'paranormal activity 2' was playing, Keena kept getting shocks and Andy kept hugging her to feel better. There was a sudden crash downstairs, and both Andy and Keena jumped this time , it was right down there. Andy re-assured her "something must have fallen I'll go check though." With a nod , Andy went downstairs, first the kitchen then all the other rooms downstairs, nothing. Keena was biting her nails upstairs thinking why Andy was taking so long, then the door creaked open , Keena smiled "Andy what is it?" she stared at the figure coming through the door and her expression changed from a smile, to pure horror...
