  7. Now I'll admit defeat when it came to auditions I had butterflies in my stomach. I just felt like writing a bit in here before I had to get going to catch the bus, ah I take that back I'll just ride the bus.

Boarding upon the bus I had this nostalgic feeling. A girl stood above me, she had knee high rainbow socks, and black converse, all I could see with my head down. She cleared her throat,
    "Can I sit there?"
I held up my communications pad and wrote yes on it.
"Mind if I get a few things off my chest?"
She asked, it's not like I cared, but I honestly didn't want to here her personal business either. I just nodded my head to be polite, my head still down when she tapped my shoulder

    "What're you writing?"

I responded on my communications pad,
    "A journal"

She simply uttered a hmm sound before taking a deep breath. Here we go,
"Last week I hacked a site, I found out some audition was going on for my favorite book Dranagons Alley. Turns out I was too late on the sign ups, so I printed out a sheet of names right. I decided to go and check it out even though I couldn't audition," she took a deep breath as I lifted up my head she had round beady black eyes behind thinly framed glasses and beautiful brown skin, her hair was...light brown?

I lifted up my communications pad,
    "What's your name?"

"Sharen, why do you ask?" She questioned pursing her lips as if to instigate.

"Last name?" I wrote lifting it up again.

"Folley," she said looking at me more puzzled.

I quickly finished writing showing her my note pad.
"My name is Chris, I work for Director Yagun. The one who's hosting the auditions. You remind me of Selda I would like for you to come with me to the auditions. I want to get you a spot," I handed her my card.

"Ah forget about the hacking thing! I never said that," she said quickly waving her arms in despair. I think this is where I stop I have to get focused for auditions, I want things done right.

    Signed: Chris

It was happening again, I often day dreamt about it. I was totally spacing out today. Not just that the auditions weighed heavily on my mind.

"Gwen?" Thalia asked as we walk out towards the doors.

    I shook startled.
    "Ah y-yes?"

"I wanted to talk to you...about Emmer," she looked down nudging her fingers together.

She looked worried I wonder what happened, so I asked,
    "What happened?"

    "I sorta..well I sorta! I can't say," she said looking more distressed.
"Anyway I'll meet you by the theatre for the auditions! Do your best!" She said getting fired up and running out the twin doors. I wonder what that was about.

    Emmer's Point of View

So man conflicted emotions even I'm having doubts in my love life. It's like everything is being rushed towards me with full force. I don't even know if I love Chris I just feel like I have to find him, keep him away from others and protect him. I want him to be mine and no one else's, but I think that's more of a Master-Servant relationship. God I don't know anymore. I don't see many signs of my dsylexia anymore actually I felt like I wanted it beaten out of me, so I –I could be normal for him. I don't know..!

I placed my hands on my head it was like I writhing in pain.
"Gwen," I thought, oh yeah her auditions. I packed my stuff and headed out from out the school.

I took the mini shortcut through the woods a bit far out. A turn here and a few twists there and voilà!
    "Emmer!" Screamed a familiar voice.

"Ah–" I was cut off my a death defying squeeze.

"Sharen?" I asked confused. Her light brown arms wrapped around me. She was a huge nerd, I knew her from a school competition. She was the only one able to compete against Thalia and come out victorious. We became very good friends after I lent her a few of my mangas.

"Oh! Meet Chris he's ah vanished?" She looked around confused.

Wait a second did she say?
"Chris? Ah could he speak?" I asked quickly shaking her.

"Um no he used this notepad, turns out he works for the director here or something,"

I looked around, my heart skipping beats. He's a guy, what the hell was I feeling? I couldn't help it though I had to see him.

Chris hiding behind an oak tree near the theatre's entrance after spotting Emmer. He quickly maneuvered his way through the line. Breathing hard he barely managed to enter. When Emmer caught a glimpse of a figure similar looking to Chris he made his way through the back entrance of the theatre. What will happen when these two meet?

Emmer reached out grabbing Chris's should knocking him on the ground with a ready-to-hit fist made.

    Emmer's point of view:

Tears gushed down my face, I had cornered Chris in some sorta janitor's closet at the back of the theatre.
Chris was wincing anticipating my hit. He'd changed, his emerald green eyes glaring back at me, his dark light brown-ish hair wasn't neatly cut anymore it was kinda shaggy and layered, almost like Chris Hemsworth's. He was also wearing clothes I don't think he'd owned before. I moved myself off of him, giving him a chance to dust off before pinning him to the wall.

"Did you think I'd let you leave that easily?" I snarled, to his surprise I wasn't stuttering anymore...

    Chris's point of view:

It was warm, the air around me his breathing was heavy in the stiff janitors closet.

"Did you think I'd let you leave that easily?" He snarled. To my surprise he didn't stutter it seems he overcame that and his weak knees. His blonde hair had gotten short again just like when were kids. His light gray eyes piercing through me like a sword. I shook, I tried to release myself from his grip, but he'd gotten stronger.

"After these three years? You know what I've been through Chris?" He whined releasing me slowly, pointing at my communications board I had been carrying around with me. I wrote,

"I'm sorry, let's not argue here,"

"Damn right we're not gonna argue here!" He grunted as if surprised by his own usage of words. I wrote down another bleak reply.

"I must attend the auditions so if you'll excuse me," he blocked my path lifting his head up.

"No..I can't let you leave me again,"

I tried explaining to him cautiously, though I knew I had to hurry,

"Emmer...I have to go, I built a new life. I don't want of memories taking away what I have now," I wrote it den with a pleading look on my face.

He removed himself from my way uttering a few words.

"Meet me in the Game Alley at 10p.m. Tonight, please just do this for me Chris," I nodded removing myself from the room headed towards the auditorium.

    Sharen's point of view:

"Emmer! Chris!" I called heading towards some old janitors closet.
    "Em–mer.."
He stood there looking up as tears rolled out from his eyes. He looked sullen, and confused.

"Sharen, you're here for the auditions right?"

I made a 'mhmm' sound. He looked at me with a smile.

"Knock em' dead," he said before walking away.

Poor Emmer he only smiles for others. It's been this way since the day I met him, though I doubt he remembers.

It was Christmas Eve though my family didn't celebrate Christmas..or anything like that. We had our own little private fireworks show at midnight in our vacation home. That's when I met Emmer he was this little lost fragile boy he wasn't the brightest or the toughest, but he was kind. I was crying because I had no gifts, I wanted to be like the other kids that got gifts from Santa. I always thought I was naughty since I never did.

"Hey what're you doing out here are you lost or something kid?" I asked him wiping my tears.

    He smiled nodding,
"M-my na-name I-is Emmer," he said stick out a small bony hand as if offering me to shake it.

"Hmph, well this isn't your house! And what're you doing on the ground anyway?" I said eyeing him up and down.

    "A-ah I l-lost my wh-wheel cha-ir," he said smiling again.

"Quit smiling! Is that supposed to be a good thing?!"

    He shook his head,
    "N-no! Bu-t you l-look like y-you n-need a sm-smile,"

I picked up his wheelchair before helping him on it. He looked surprised, but kept smiling. On our way back to his home, he made me stand outside while his mother thanked me for helping him. He came back with a present in his hand,

"What's this?" I asked shaking it.

"Y-you l-looked l-like y-you need a sm-smile," he said as he smiled waving me off.

In the box was a pendant. I couldn't really describe it, but it was the most enchanting thing ever. It was also my first gift, I thanked Emmer for that, I really hoped we could meet again, but not like, like this.

    ----
Everything seems to be reaching it's near soon climax as things take an obsecure turning point. With the past and the present catching up, what will happen?!!

  17. An explosion! Lol.

And nice update! I still wanna know how auditions went.

And I predict a cat fight as well.
