Water against Fire. Arch enemies since creation... And why is Jodiiee sticking to me like tape? I prefer duct tape.
Jodiiee I heard what Josh had said, but I kept it to myself. There was something that wasn't right. I just knew it. Call it gut feel, but there's something strange about the whole thing. I gathered some water from the dew that had gathered on the leaves and drank it up. The place was so dense, that it was starting to cool, despite the sun burning so bright. I was definitely feeling more comfortable. I sat opposite Josh. He had placed Naomi by the log he was sitting on. "How'd you figure that you could find water on the leaves?" he asked. "Discovery Channel. Its really educational." I replied. "I see." There was an awkward silence, even the crickets were quiet. All of a sudden, a young man hopped over Josh's log and placed his finger to his lips. "Just stay still," he whispered, "Don't make a sound until it has passed..." Josh and I watched intently. A huge boar strutted out of the trees, snorting and sniffing. It's eyes were so small that it could barely see. The young man picked up a rock and tossed it high and far into the trees. He didnt even touch the rock. His hands just picked it up, almost as if he had Telekenesis. Following the sound, the boar roared and ran towards it. He sat down and breathed a sigh of relief. "That was close!" he grinned. "Is that boar dangerous?" I asked. "It can be. If his tusks find its way through your flesh, and he tramples over you. No chance of surviving there." he replied. He paused. "By the way, who are you people, what are you doing here?" "Isn't that what we should be asking you?" Josh cut in. "Name's Otto. Not otter, don't get it wrong." he replied. "I'm from a city nearby." "Josh," Josh pointed to himself, "She's Jodiiee, and she's Naomi. Something happened, and she just fainted. We're not quite sure what." Otto nodded, his blue eyes glistened and his White hair seemed strangely natural on him. "We'll have to bring her to the Emergency ward to get her checked out. Come, I'll show you the way." "Emergency ward? Aren't we in the middle of the jungle?" I pointed out. "Not where I'm from." Otto smiled and led us through the dense forest, till we reached a rock. On it there was a small engraving of a sword. Otto placed his hand on it, and the symbol glowed, and dissolved. A small path opened up before us. "Where are we going?" Josh was getting tired of carrying Naomi on his back. "To where I'm from." Otto replied. "Where's that?" I was curious to know what city could possibly be found in a jungle. "You'll find out soon enough." Otto grinned at me, that was when I noticed a long sword with intricate designs tattooed onto the right of his neck. 'Where have I seen something similar?' I though to myself. Things were getting weirder and weirder.
Ikr. Every1 calls me otter when they try to insult me, but it dont bother me cuz it's not my real name
The City of GLADIUS Gladius is a city filled with ancient ruins of war. It is a barren land filled with sand and cemeteries of the warriors of old. In older times, the city was commonly called 'Machaera', because of the brand of the warriors in the land. However, in modern days, the city is fondly known as 'Gladius', and sometimes still referred to as 'The Lost City of Machaera'. Do not be deceived however, by the outward appearance of this rubble. For below it's unsightly mess, lies a city more advanced than common civilisation.
Naomi I felt heat coursing through my body. I could hear echoes of random words, housed by shadows in a light. "Lupa." "Peace." "Tribe." Then my vision blacked out again, and the last thought on my mind was, "I know this smell." Ninz "I believe she may be the one." "Don't try. We must be sure. Absolutely sure. No mistakes must be made." I replied. Cyber stepped into the light cracking his knuckles. "This time I am sure." "There is no more this time or last time. If we lose this, we're gone forever. The Draconis would never allow for another mistake." I walked away from the wall I was leaning on. Just then, Fletch came in. He walked over to me and silently passed me a piece of paper. I looked at it. "Fine." I closed my eyes. If it's a direct order from Andrieth, I have nothing to say. "You don't seem too happy about it." "I don't take assistants. I kill, I get the job done. I don't need an extra baggage to slow me down." "I'll fight to the death. Just like you would." Fletch defended. "At the way things are going, you may just reach the death part before the fight. Even your glowing palm cannot help you. You watch for yourself Fletch. I will not stop for you to breathe." From the side of my eye, I saw Fletch tighten his fists. "If you want to fight under a Draco, you have to bite your own share. Don't expect me to save you." I walked out of the room. "Tormentums will not lose. We never lose." Fletch mumbled. "Provided you are a true Tormentum, Fletch. The blood that runs through you may be Tor, but you leaving your tribe has stripped you of that privilege." I shouted as I walked down the hallway, the doors closing when I ended my sentence. Otto "We must not tell anyone that she is here." "I know Chew. I'll make sure this does not get out." I replied. "Wait. What exactly is going on?" Josh folded his arms and leaned against the wall. "And who is this man?" "My name is Chewbacca. Your friend is my patient." the doctor replied. "We cannot allow Naomi to leave this place." I explained. "What?! And why the hell not?" Josh was getting annoyed. "She is a Lupa." Chew calmly replied. "What on earth is that?" Jodiiee cut in. "I cannot reveal what it means. But for now, just trust us. Her presence and identity revealed could cause chaos." "I don't like this... I don't like this one bit." Josh mumbled.
