Danzo Ex's shoulder was healing well. "Just a little more Dan." I nodded. I stretched out my hand toward her shoulder, and and it shone blue. "What's happening now?" Joe inquired. "I'm controlling the nano bots to work faster. It's dangerous being out here. We don't have much time." I replied. "You're controlling it with your hand?" Ex was getting a little annoyed. "Didn't I tell you we weren't normal humans? What part of not normal did you not get?!" "I figured it was a figure of speech. You know bravado and all?" Ex narrowed her eyes. She was ready to hit him. "Ex..." I gently reminded her. "Urgh. This is annoying." she closed her eyes. Suddenly we heard a distant rustling in the bushes. Ex stood up and we turned our attention to the sound. Nana Qin was showing a side I had never seen before. She was just fearless, creeping through the trees and the vegetation. "Are you even a girl?" Bliz burst out. Qin ignored him. Bliz kept talking. I was getting irritated. "What the hell Bliz! Just shut up will you?" "What! Have you never seen a guy afraid before. This is how I deal with it okay?! Deal with it Nana!" Bliz retaliated. Suddenly Qin swung around and locked her pistol at Bliz head. "Whoa Babe, calm down." I tried to intervene. "Maybe this will scare the freaking fear out of you. Or are you too much of a wimp? We're here now Bliz. Freaking deal with it and shut up, or I'll put a hole in that bloody brain that controls that fear! You decide. Got it?!" Qin whispered loudly. Bliz stood silent and beads of sweat covered his forehead. The tension was in the air, and those few minutes felt like a few hours. "Fine." Bliz finally broke the silence. Qin kept her gun, and turned to continue down the path. I turned to Bliz. He was peeved. Soon we came to an opening and Qin stopped just behind the bushes. She crouched down and peeked through the leaves pulling out her gun. I copied her. There were 4 people. One had on a bartender's uniform, and another had blue light emitting from his palm. They stood around a girl. The last was a blonde haired girl who was sleeping by the side. "Hmm." Qin kept her pistol. "Who's there!" a distant voice rang out. She pushed through the bushes. Ex The rustling in the bushes got louder. "Who's there!" Joe shouted out. "Bloody shut up Joe!" I whispered. Slowly, a girl came out of the bushes. "Qin!" I shouted and ran towards her. She smiled and gave me a hug. There were two other guys with her that looked familiar. "Naomi?" Qin asked. I shook my head. "We got separated on the ship." Qin's face fell. I could tell she was really upset. "Oh you!!" the guy with the silver hair shouted out. Qin rolled her eyes. "You're the girl that threw the menu at Charles! It's your fault he's missing damn it!" he continued. I raised my eyebrows. "Shut up Bliz." Qin ordered. I could see that Bliz was getting angry. "Being shipwrecked sure makes people go crazy." Danzo commented. We stood in silence. He was right.
Naomi The day was getting warmer. We picked up a random stranger along the way. She said her name was Jodiiee. I thought she was weird. She kept sticking to Josh like tape and she was somewhat aloof towards me. Not that I said much anyway. "What exactly are we looking for Naomi?" Josh asked as we trekked among the roots of the heaven-high trees. "I'm going to find Hank, Save Qin, and kill him." I replied. "Kill? Did she just say kill?!" Jodiiee whispered loudly. I chose to ignore her, and apparently so did Josh. Sensing an awkward silence, Jodiiee tried to strike up another conversation. "So, you two were on the ship too right?" "I was," Josh replied. I kept quiet. "Naomi can't remember." he said. "Did you hit your head?" Jodiiee tried to be helpful. "No. I don't know why the two of you keep talking about a bloody ship! I sure have no inkling of ever being on a ship. So stop asking okay?!" I exclaimed. "Okay... Relax. I was just asking." "Don't." "Fine." Jodiiee was silent for awhile. "Did you drink at the bar Josh? There was this cute bartender called Joe! He was happily recommending his own concoction to the other passengers. Now I really feel like having one of his drinks." she went on for awhile. 'Joe?' I thought to myself. 'He sounds familiar... Wher-' A sharp pain shot through my head. "Argh! Damn it!!!" I covered my ears and knelt on the ground. A loud ring was screaming in my head. "Stop! stop! Stop making that noise!!!! Aaaaarrrrgh!" Soon, my vision turned black, and I felt nothing. Ninz "Andi, so what's next?" I asked. "We'll hand him over to Knah. Then we get our money, and we'll have washed our hands off the boy." Andrieth casually replied. "What about the tattooed girl?" "We'll have to get rid of her..." Before Andrieth could finish, she started to rub her temples. "What is that sound?" I didn't hear anything. "What sound? I don't-" Andrieth stretched out her hand to silence me. "I have to get to bed. Something's wrong." Andrieth slowly made her way to her quarters. "Damn... What's going on Ninz? Did you see Andi's eyes?" Fletch stepped up to the table. "Yeah." Cyber agreed. I nodded. Andrieth's eyes had started to burn bright red. Like a fire was burning in her eyes. ========================== "Naomi!" Josh shouted and tried slapping her face. He separated her eyelids and his eyes went wide. "Jodiiee! Do you see what I see?" Jodiiee walked closer. She gasped. "Her eyes!" Naomi's eyes were shining bright blue, as if there was water rising up in a continuous wave. "Now I know you are real, Naomi" Josh whispered. "Did you say something Josh?" "I said we should rest here until she wakes." Jodiiee nodded silently.
