Sure you can have a power cyber. And I can't tell you if you are gonna die! Lol! Okay, my current plan? no. But it may change.
Charlie Well, what Cyber said wasn't true. Water was starting to trickle into the vehicle. Bit by bit. Now I really started to panic! "You bloody lied! Water is coming in!" "Relax twinkle toes. A little water ain't gonna kill you." Cyber laughed. "Just sit back and relax. We'll be there soon." I closed my eyes and tried to sleep, hoping that it'd ease up the anxiousness. It was getting relaxing; the constant rumbling of the vehicle and the droplets of water that fell on my head were putting me to sleep. "We're here twinkles." Cyber's gruff voice shocked me awake. I caught a glimpse of him holding a small needle. "Trust me kid, this won't hurt one bit." "Oh no... Not agai-" He stabbed it into my neck and my vision faded to black. ========================== The fire crackled. Taylor was fast asleep on Joe's shoulder, snoring softly. He stroked her hair and tried to stay awake. The whole shipwreck had pulled all the strength from him and he was tired. He tried to think of the next step to take, the next move, but his thoughts pulled him to the events that happened day before. All was going well on the Black Pearl. More customers were strolling into the bar, and Joe was busy promoting his Tree concoction. "Hey Joe! Give me one more of that awesome concoction you made" a customer shouted from two tables away. A live band started to play and the words to "My Heart will go On" by Celine Dion rang through the air. The moment they finished the song, the lead singer and guitarist made a beeline for the bar. "Hey, one Martini please." She smiled. Joe slid over a coaster. "One Martini coming right up. You sing really well." he commented as he stirred the concoction. "Thanks, we're actually an Independent band at the moment. But I sort of feel our big break coming soon you know?" Joe placed the martini on the coaster and nodded. "We'll I'll be sure to keep an eye- I mean ear out for you guys. What do they call you?" The singer smiled."The band is called 'Crossroads', but you can call me Jodiiee." she winked and took a sip of her Martini. "Wow this is good! You make good drinks err..." "Joe, but some call me Apoc." "Apoc. Thanks alot." she left a 50 on the counter for tip and skipped off to the deck. "Who's your new girl Joe?" A girl wearing a flowery sun dress frowned at Joe with her arms crossed (clearly unhappy about something). Joe looked up. "Oh hey Tay Tay. She's just a customer. Like all the others." Joe motioned down the row- they were all females. Taylor took the seat that Jodiiee just left. She sighed and rested her chin on her palm. "It's boring having to accompany you on work trips." "Well," Joe tugged on her fringe." You could sit here and watch me work." That's when the someone outside shouted. "What the-! What on earth is that?!" Joe tip toed to catch a glimpse of what was happening. People were starting to scream and run out of the pool. "What on earth?!" Taylor ran out to look. "Wait! Tay!" Joe jumped and slid over the counter "It could be dangerous!" he ran and stood beside Tay. People were slowly gathering around the pool. "Oh my Go-!" a woman on the right screamed. "He's getting eaten! Oh my!" Joe and Taylor turned their attention to the man squirming on the floor. "Somebody help him!" Joe shouted over the crowd, but everyone backed up instead. The lifeguard ran to the man and tried to save him. "Get it off me! Get it-! Argh!!!!" the victim screamed. The moment the life guard touched the man, he too started screaming. "God D-! It's eating me!" Joe looked at the strange situation. There was nothing visible that could be seen. Suddenly, his attention turned to the pool, the water was draining out. "The Pool!" Taylor shouted. A mass of olive green substances started to fill the pool, and it's walls started to disintegrate. "What on earth is that?" Joe mumbled to himself. Soon the green substance started to attack the deck. The passengers went into a massive state of panic. Everyone started screaming and running. Joe and Taylor were being shoved around and Taylor fell. "Tay!" Joe exclaimed. He forced his way through the crowd and wrapped his arms around her, so that people could not stomp on her. The green substance sped up. It kept moving and moving, but stopped short. It stopped at the wooden edge where Taylor and Joe were. They stared at disbelief. Joe looked up at the two dead bodies lying on the metal platform. Their eyeballs were gone, leaving empty sockets. And the skin was draped over the bones as if all the muscles and flesh inside were gone. Blood had spilled out of the nose, mouth and eye sockets. Joe's eyes widened. "Joe..." Taylor dug her face into Joe's chest. She was shivering. Unable to take his eyes off the horrifying scene, Joe tried to comfort her. "We have to go babe." He pulled her to her feet and pulled her close. All of a sudden, the whole front of the ship fell out, and the whole front of the ship dropped into the water. "Oh my Go-!" Joe pulled Taylor and the two of them started sprinting to the back of the ship where the life boats were kept. The ship started to dive into the water, slowly but surely. Pieces of the ship started to fall off, one huge chunk of metal barely missing the couple. This was the start of hell.
That's so good! Please don't make me die.. I'll sing a song for you You could even go on tour with me!
Joe Thinking of the past was not my sort of thing. I'm the kind of guy that lives each day as it comes. I don't live with regret, I move on. But the things that I saw yesterday were unbelievable. My nickname is Apoc -short for Apocalypse, and I never would have imagined that name to hold such significance. Yesterday, was the beginning of an end- an apocalypse. Just as I was caught up in my thoughts, Dan and Ex came back. Ex's clothes were drenched red and she was gripping onto her left shoulder. Dan helped her down into a sitting position. "Dude, what happened?" I asked. "We were attacked. I could not really see our assailants. Ex would be able to give you a clearer picture." I gently lay Taylor's head on a soft patch of grass and walked over to look at the wound. "Let me look at that." I pulled Ex's hand away from her shoulder. The shirt was cut open at the shoulder and the wound was really deep, though not deep enough to damage any bone. "Hmm. This will not heal easily, but I can disinfect it." Ex's eyes widened. "Please don't tell me you are-" Before she could finish, I took out a small bottle of pure alcohol and poured it onto her wound. Ex screamed in pain and whipped out a small knife pointing it at me. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" "Whoa, relax. I just disinfected it." I raised my hands palms facing forward. "I don't need bloody disinfecting!" she retaliated. "You're going to get a bad infection if you don't." Ex narrowed her eyes. "First of all, no one uses alcohol to disinfect an wound this deep. Secondly, I don't get infections because i'm not a normal human being okay?!" "Okay. Fine. Whatever." I stood up and walked away. "Hey Joe." Dan called out. I turned to see him running towards me. "I know she's being difficult, and we appreciate you trying to help, so thank you." he whispered. "It's no problem. Just tell her to keep that knife from me, and we should be okay." I replied. Dan nodded. "Umm... About the wound, I think that there's something you should see." I raised an eyebrow. "You don't have to come close," Dan continued. "Just look at the wound." I walked over to Ex and observed the wound carefully. "What... On earth." I exclaimed. I saw a blue substance repairing the tissues in the gaping wound. "They are nano-bots." Ex explained, a frown still on her face. My eyes widened. "Wait, those things that destroyed the ship, and ate flesh were nano-bots too right?" Dan and Ex nodded. "Then why the hell are these so different?" I exclaimed. "Nano-bots can be programmed differently. Some are programmed to destroy, like the green coloured ones on the ship, other like these blue ones are made to repair." Dab gleefully pointed out. "And these blue ones are extremely special, because I programmed them!" Ex nodded. "Dan is a genius. While scientists are still figuring out how to stabilise their programming or even to reset their settings, Dan has gone straight to creating nano-bots that repair." I was amused. "is there anything that can kill them?" "Only with the master control." Dan answered.
