I sprung at him, my gun under his chin. Sure, it was a little dramatic, but how did he know about my mother and the Sanctuary??? I needed answers. "how do you know about my mother and the Sanctuary?!" I snarled. He chuckled and pushed the gun gently out from under his chin. He smiled up at her. "I see the prophecy has come true." he answered, smiling. Be back soon to write more.
I turned away. It would be in disgust... But he was kinda cute. No!!! You watched your boyfriend get torn apart! There is no one on this earth left for you! I think angrily to myself. "You DO know the prophecy, don't you?!" he asked me in disbelief. "No, I don't know about any stupid prophecy! All I know is pain from the past!" I answered angrily. "But... It's about your family..." he said. "Yeah, well they're all dead so what does it matter?!" "They may be dead... But you're not."
I decided there was no swaying this guy. "name? Age?" I asked. I'm not much of a talker. "Charlie, 18." he answered. "Angie, 18." I said. "Yeah. You told me your name already." "so??? What if you forgot?!" "How could I forget? Your family is legendary." he said smugly. "Stop saying that." "What, you mean the truth???" "Shut up!" I said, chucking a stone at his head, missing slightly on purpose. I didn't wanna hurt him... Just let him understand where I stood.
He stood up. "how long had you been down there?" he asked, walking towered me. I narrowed my eyes and made fists threateningly. He was coming to close for comfort. "whoa, ok there!!!" he said stopping and backing up. "at least 2 months" I said. I knew exactly how long. 1 month and 27 days. "how do you keep track?" he Asked. I turned away. I wasn't going to answer that. The answer was horrible. "Well? How?" he asked impatiently. I spun around and put my hand on his throat. "You don't need to know." I growled.
He pushed me away. I didn't stop glaring at him. "What the hell?!" he shouted. "You don't want to know what went on in there!" I answered sharply. "Yeah, I do my parents are in there!" he roared, his face beet red. I had had it. "Alright!!! You really wanna know how I kept track of time?! Exactly three days apart, someone would die and we had to watch mutants tear them apart!!! The day after, gaurds would whip us till we passed out!!! Then, once a week, we were fed a slice of bread!!! If that wasnt enough, they saved the heads of the people they killed, and if you loved them, the head went right infront of you! I watched my parents, sister, boyfriend, and several of my friends die..." I finished softly, choked up. "I... Was next."
