Emma's pov ~Flashback William opens the door and i smile. God he was sexy. I was pleased to hear when he said to meet him at his place. I was excited about the supposed 'surprise'. I step in and hear William close the door. "So, what do you have planned for us?" i ask, turning. I see him holding a knife and a feeling of unease grew inside me. "Wh- whats that for?" i ask and he smiles. "Surprise!" he says and lunges at me, knife inches away from me. I scream for help, running down the hall and into a room. I shut and locked the door, turning on my cell phone, and called Katelyn. Come on, come on! I hear it ringing a few times before William kick the door down. I quit the call and kicked him in the groin and he bends over in pain. Then i knee him in the face before running past him. I enter the dining room and feel a hand grab my shoulder, spinning me the opposite way. I'm face to face with William, his nose bleeding. "you b*tch, look what you did!" he yelled before sticking the knife in my abdomen. I fall over in pain and feel myself blacking out. <><><><><><><> I groan and groggily open my eyes. I see a nurse look at me in suprise, "Doctor! She's awake!" the nurse crys. i frown and look around, i find myself in a hospital room. I had I.V drips running down through my arms and bandages covering my stomach. "Do you remember what happened?" the nurse asks. I shook my head, which was a lie. I knew who it was that stabbed me. I shouldn't be alive, because of him. And i was going to make him pay.
Katelyns pov I gasp in surprise. "Goodbye, B*tch." she said sweetly, shooting again. The bullet grazed Williams forearm and he bellowed in anger and pain. She fumbled to reload and William took this opportunity to shoot back. He shot her in the leg and she crumbled to the ground. "Isnt a person supposed to Die when you cut into them?" he asked her, walking to her. "Lets hope bullets work differently." she snarled at him, pointing the gun at him. He ripped it out of her hand and threw it. Right beside me. He pointed the gun at Emmas head. "Normally i would say something clever, but your not worth it." he says. I see his finger twitch on the trigger and i whip the gun up and shoot blindly, surprised at the recoil. I hear a sick noise and knew i had hit him. The gun in his hand automatically grip the gun, but it misses Emma. He turns to me and i see him clutch his bleeding stomach. He comes towards me and i shoot again. The gun clicks and i throw it. William grabbed my neck and i feel myself lose my breath. "Sorry." i say. He snorts "Sorry? For what, dying?" "For your childhood. Thats how this started, right?" i ask and he loses his grip for a second, then his anger came back. "You dont know my childhood!" he snarls and grabs my neck harder. Blotches start forming. "Then, im sorry, for this-" i say and stab him in the chest with his knife i had found. He looks surprised and looks down at the knife wound. He lets go of my neck and pulls out the knife and looks at me one more time, before falling over. I feel fresh blood pool as i reopen my cuts and i lose conscience once again.
