He leaves his lecture feeling mentally drained, and trudges behind his class to the science labs.

 

Jack:

"Aww." He groans.

 

Brooke: She sighs and looses focus on the discussion, thinking about random things to pass the time.

 

Gear: once the bell rings we are going to outside to start you will learn to sweat and fall apart-hits the table-you will learn that it's not easy being a soldier every course will be what's done on the marines if you fail one or all of the exams I will help out the best way I can do y'all understand maggots-raises his voice at them-

 

Jack:

"Why do we have to do this, we aren't going in the army?"

 

Gear: did you just ask me a dumb question maggot-raises eyebrow-it's to determine if you can survive in the outside world

 

Brooke: "Exactly. What if we don't want a job that requires such hard-core PE?"

 

Gear: or do you wanna climb Mount Everest?

 

Brooke: "I do not want to climb Mount Everest. What does that have to do with English and/or PE?"

 

Gear: if you all passed both today's test and the one in two months I was gonna reward you all with a field trip to Japan in which you can do anything you want-shrugs-

 

Brooke: "I'm down for a trip to Japan. As long as it doesn't cost much..."

 

Gear: pass each test and I'm gonna be paying everything
