I finally got it I couldn't reference back so forgive me if I got something wrong Jasmine Pain pounded through my head. Was charlie another sick, twisted monster that had been created? Maybe..... I shook my head and focused on my surroundings. We were in a huge head quarters, bustling with men and women all heading to some unknown destination. A bustling blonde girl sputtered to an uneasy stop as she saw us approaching. "ack!" she exclaimed "Cyber! Get your butt over here!! And bring that dip-wad epic" she wailed "er....hi I'm Jodie" the girl, Jodie said recovering. A brown haired guy accompanied by a tallish guy with black hair "oh my god you did not just call me a 'dip-wad'" the black haired guy-epic I'm assuming- said, narrowing his eyes. "hey calm down guys," cyber said angrily "Master O'malley" he said nodding at Ciaran. "master?" I looked at them questioningly "he is our mentor" Jodie said respectively. "ugh. I just call him dad." epic said. "whoa." I looked from the older man to the teenager. They both had a penetrating, icy blue stare. But epic's was less used. "yes. Cyber and Jodie will be training you two in basic combat." Ciaran said. "you will need it for your mission. Cyber will go one on one with Jasmine, though, because he has....'special' as well." he said. "epic is training along side you, for as you were, he was born in to this" he said, his icy blue eyes penetrating me, making my skin prickle. Worry, fear, and impatience to find my friends wound up inside me, twisting and churning in my stomach. Jodie laid a hand on my arm. "someone very important to you is in danger isn't there?" she said. A lump in my throat rose and I simply nodded. We were led down a flight of long stairs, the lights dim, the walls a colorless metal that I couldn't define. As we finally descended we came to what looked to be apartments. There were about 20 or so in front of us, lining the long corridor. Jodie looked at Ciaran, and with a tight nod from him we parted ways, him, Paul, and epic heading a ways away. "ok I'm going to share with jaz, cyber, you bunk with Dan." she said pointing her thumb to a door a little ways away from our sleeping quarters. A vibrant room that matched the seemingly tireless jod's attitude. Bright greens and rich purples stained my eyes. There were two twin sized beds in the corner with over stuffed pillows and soft-looking comforters. Jod actually wasn't as tireless as I thought and before long we were both out. An odd dream came to me. I woke up in a sunny room in a large soft bed, and as I stretched out there was someone beside me who groaned and stirred ever so slightly. Shocked, I lifted the comforter and there besides me was Tyler. He looked a bit older, maybe 30 and I cocked my head to the side. 'Hmm...' my mind worked around. Slowly, I padded out of the bed on to the squishy carpet. I explored the house. There was a room with a beautiful sleeping little girl, around 8 years old. And a fine young man, 13 years old I think. There was a sweet looking beagle in a basket besides the boy too. It was wonderful. It was everything I wanted in life, a family, a house, and a stable life. I wished that this would come true. But I knew it wouldn't for a while, but I could always hope.
