Naomi was in a daze. She didn't know what the hell happened. One minute she was in the bathroom brushing her teeth, the next she was tied up in the back of a semi-truck. And she wasn't alone. Most of her friends, save Jaz and Dan were bound and gagged as well. Naomi managed to loosen the gag, which was a sock, that she hoped was at least some-what clean. "guys," she said "guys wake up." she tried again. This time, Tyler whose head was in Joe's lap stirred. Then his eyes flew open he saw where he was and tried desperately to right himself. Then Joe woke up and his knee shot up, getting Tyler in the head. Tyler was righted then he fell straight in to someone else's lap. In the murky light that flooded through the holes in the tarp, it was Fletcher. Tyler loosened his gag and cried "DAMNIT." which startled fletch. When he looked down he glared, loosened his gag, these people really suck at tying knots, and swore "we will never speak of this" fletch said. And he gently eased Tyler up. He leaned back gratefully. Taylor was peacefully asleep, leaning on fletch. And Heart was curled up with a sack of potatoes. After everyone was accounted for, Joe asked the question they were all thinking "where the f***k are we going?!?"
Both Dan and me were worried sick, and obviously this meant another mission. But without knowing where they were it was futile. So we had to stay and wait. It was agonizing. Not being sure that some of the people you love are alive, if they're ok, and I missed Tyler with a burning ache in my chest. Dan and I spent more time together and I got to know him better. He was born in Wales but his family moved to Idaho after his mom got a new job in the states. Dan and fletch were only 2 years old at the time. Dan had been adopted. I learned about his dreams, his hopes, and he got to know me too. It was a real bonding thing. But we both knew that we would both rather be finding them instead of pouring our hearts out to one another. Meanwhile, our captive friends were planing. The semi-truck had stopped and the doors flew open. It was Charlie and Sydney and more surprisingly, they had Otto and Sophie too. But they were tied up. It was quite obvious they took agent Malpense's children to prevent him from doing something to compromise their mission. Don't get me wrong, neither Sydney or Charlie treated them harshly. Instead they both looked sorry and rueful.
