I think a purge is just what this country needs. Full of lowlifes who think they can boss people around when they don't even know you. Those trashy women that stand on a street corner with AIDS giving it away like a carnival prize. Wastes of life jacking peoples cars on a daily basis. They all deserve to meet the purge and have their souls cleansed free of the mayhem and trouble they have caused. A real purge. That would be horrible for businesses. How can you expect to put long term investments in employees when they could be dead in less than a year?

That's where you're wrong. I'm not butthurt. Of course I can't account for other individuals, but if people knew a purge was coming than why put large investments in your business. It would cut the population close to half of what it was. Unemployment rates would be low and if you know where you're going in the end than your safe I guess.
If there weren't any large investments in businesses, then we wouldn't have any growing companies. If a company were to die out, you couldn't expect a new one to arise because none would have the right type of money to do so. I don't know if anyone mentioned this but crime rate is a big thing too. I honestly dont give a fuck what Louis Peitzman says. He's no one to me. I bet if that one night happened that he would have a tough decision on his hands. Do I purge or do I not? You can say the purge is bad all you want and not support it, but I'm pretty sure most of you would have a decision to make as well. The crime rate would stay low because of the aggression built up you get it all out in 12 hours. You can really tell who your friends are this night too. So all in all the purge brings out honesty at its finest. I know I don't like friends who talk shit behind other backs.
Do you not know anything of human nature? Do you really think sociopaths are just gonna commit mass crimes one night a year? Or any criminal, in that matter? Plus, this would leave the United States with a broken society. People would be angry all the time and making death threats and all sincerity would be nonexistent except for little kiss-asses.
