I have august 2 sowii was deleting wall posts. Parents with two children - a son and a daughter - came to a wide river. There was no bridge there. The only way to get to the other side was to ask a fisherman if he could lend them his boat. However, the boat could carry only one adult or two children. How does the family get to the other side and return the boat to the fisherman?

Two children go to the other side. One brings the boat back. One parent goes to the other side. Child on other side brings boat back. Both children take boat to other side. One child takes boat back. Other parent goes to other side. Child brings boat back. Both children go to the other side and return the boat.
First children. Son comes back, father goes on to side 2 daughter. daughter goes back to pick bro up and they both go to side 2 Son comes back give toat to mother who goes to side 2. Daughter goes to side 2 and bro and sis both return to their parents. On side 2. son goes back to give the boat back on the first side of the river to the fisherman, who goes to side 2. girl goes to side 1 and thkes bro back to parents
