Anyone who has ever lived under apartheid would be insulted by that claim. Do you even know what apartheid is? Terrorism and killing civilians is not how you win a war and get back your land. I wish that no Palestinian would ever die, and there has been lots of unfortunate loss of civilian life on their side. But that isn't all Israel's fault, Hamas worsens it by sending people off to die for the media, and by engaging the IDF from civilian zones. It's a travesty that so many die and I hate it as much as you, but the blame doesn't solely lie with one party. Also the fact that civilians and military are so closely interlinked that if you kick the gun out of a militant's hand, they're indistinguishable from a militant, means that those numbers of civilians deaths are conflated and sadly inaccurate. And again, it is sad that they don't train their militants at all. And any training they do get is focused not on how to survive, but only how to kill. I would hate to live in a country where my civilian status was so brittle and undervalued by my government that I could be mistaken for a militant at any moment. This is why the UN mandates uniforms and identifiers for military personnel, and why Hamas breaching the Geneva convention is not okay. But nobody even aclnowledges this base reality.
