    Kimi ni todoke is good too but the op asked for something not related to school life (I think).

  17. Elfen Lied

    Rated in Canada as above 18, graphic violence and gore. What is really so scary about this anime is the psychological violence involved.

    A definite thriller as well as a horror story with an extremely good plot.

    Have fun if you really intend to watch. I can't sleep now.

  19. Recommending Ouran High School Host Club but that may be school-related.. or not.. yes the setting is a school but it's more of about host club life so yeah.. it's just really one of my fave animes the ending is a cliff hanger so you might wanna read the manga :3
