Hmm hard to answer but depends how justice is served if it's sevred after one doesn't accept his mistake at first place then there's no mercy but if one accepts he has done wrong and is ready to face consequences then there might be some room for mercy
I really do not believe in this... to me that is too many excuses used to get by on doing things you know are wrong. As for Wolf's question, I do both as it deps on the case. In my eyes we are all adults tho and know right from wrong. Unless it is a child who has done a crime... a lesser punishment to me would be suitable. If you are an adult, you should know better. So if you choose to still commit a crime, you should deal with the consequences of your actions. I don't believe in putting ppl to death tho. Even if they have killed many others or just 1. To me it is not right to judge on taking anyones life. We are no better if we are to take someone elses.
