Question of the Night

  1. Any virus capable of raising a dead body would be really easy to combat for three reasons:

    1)Reproduces slowly (Too complex)
2)Would probably destroy the host body
3)We would notice immediately and dead flesh is not hard to destroy.

  2. Oh yes, please continue.

  3. I'm sticking with Jihi if that happens.

They'd die many ways before they reached my house.

They may be immune to diseases, but I hope sunlight helps burn their fugly asses off quickly. .___.

  4. they made zombie bullets .-. (._.)

  5. The reason why a dead body couldn't be controlled by a virus is blood. You can make a heart beat but what if blood is not purifying itself or if it isn't hot enough or just if it's not blood anymore. After death, the blood doesn't keep its liquid form forever. There's also parasites that attack a dead body. It eats the organs really fast. And if it somehow became real, incineration is the key to beating this virus attacking the dead.

  6. Also keep in mind that zombies are basically walking corpses. ._.

  7. The lifeline is obviously much shorter once it is reanimated. We are talking six months in perfect conditions, and a week in the worst conditions. And you are right the virus would be slow to reproduce, but it is easy to contract. And the virus itself isn't lethal. Like it was also said there is lots of bacteria that feed on dead bodies, and whenever a zombie bites someone that bacteria is passed one causing infection. A person could technically survive a zombie attack with proper care and antibiotics, and live to a ripe old age. But once they doe they will be reanimated. That is one thing that makes it devastating. We could be under attack. Millions of zombies. But human band together and repair the world and start anew. But fifty years later when a few people that were bitten unnoticed die, the process could potentially start over.

Something else, is that animals cab also be reanimated. And since animals are nothing but primal instincts, they could be controlled much easier by the virus allowing them to movie at almost a normal speed. The problem is though is that if an animal gets close enough to get bitten, it is most likely going to be eaten, and since a majority of animals are smaller than us there would be hardly Any remains left to be reanimated. But this could still propose a very large and terrifying threat. Imagine a dozen or so zombies limping toward you, and in the middle of them is a grizzly bear? Slightly horrific. And the problem about staying in your house because you think it is fortified is that alot of the times you won't be ready for the zombie attack and won't have enough supplies to last. Do you have enough food and water to last 2-6 months? And another is that zombies don't have nerves. They will scratch and pound on your house until the skin is stripped away and it's just bone. And then they will continue until the hand has been worn down and it's just arm. Even sturdy houses might not be able to handle the non stop constant hamming.

  8. Does that mean living in a tree is a no-no? D:

    Awww...

  9. I don't think living in a tree would work. Until it was the worlds largest apple tree and you were very quiet!

  10. Yep. Largest apple tree. ._.

  11. As for the quiet part, it'd be a treehouse/treecity. ._.

  12. One of my friends said corpses harden/stiffen after a short amount of time .-. So that might cancel out the possibility of raising the dead.

  13. Christ... Genius...

Just to answer your question I don't think there will ever be a zombie apocalypse... But your theory is making it sound very true, and genuine.

  14. No... The only reason you people are saying this is because you're paranoid.

Even if this "and what if" situation were to occur, if the corpses bodies had a damaged organ (let's say lung), the zombie couldn't breathe... Dying in 10 minutes or less.

  15. I'd just surround my house with treadmills.

  16. Zombies are real!!!!!!! If santa is real then zombies must be real too!!

  17. And dude they dont need organs to libe they are undead....they loses their whole body but still able to bite with their head....

  18. Well, i think its more likely a virus attack, possibly similar to rabies, could hit our immune system, causing overload of instincts and impulses to bite and attack anything that moves.

    Not reanimated corpses ._.

or there is the possibility that the whole infected thing is fake and people are just starting to resort to canniblism. since there has been a couple cases of it spreading around.

  19. I don't think a "Hollywood" zombie could happen. Like coming out from the ground? Or walking around with their arms extended? Nuh-Uh.

What I do think is possible is the virus theory. Maybe a virus will spread that suddenly everyone will have the urge to eat each other. That leads to cannibalism. There are already cannibals in remote places of the world. It is only when they come to places such as New York or China and if they will start eating people will the chaos start.

    Resident evil. 
