  1. What about the countries that are against woman rights? Or the countries that stone people that don't agree with them? Why not focus on them?

  2. No one is right or wrong now lets move on from this topic before conflict :(

  3. I like peeta's answer. 

  4. We do discuss how to improve those places-- but people have always focused on their own homes over the homes of others. In addition, we can vote to change our country. Our votes don't directly affect other countries.

  5. Mimi, mention politics and conflict is inevitable.

  6. Lets just face it, Op and that Akiko girl are just acting like primadonnas

  7. Not politics... A better word is rights, I guess.

  8. Saying we are not a free country because of the gay marriage laws is pretty much stupid and look at some states in this nation of freedom , Gay marriage is aloud. It's really simply since our laws rotate around this man made bible. Why I say man made because only what you read is only half the truth of what they don't want you to read because it's bad.

that right there runs your life. Focus on that and not what's slowly becoming undone.

    P.S. A Question for you
Why is it that most people from other Country's want to live here in American or Aussie? Really simply freedom from a lot of other country's

  9. That's how you see it. But is it how others see it? Your perception is different from what others perceive. I see this as a remark. OP's just wondering why the United States keep saying they're the nation of freedom while they are far from it. No they're not the worst, but they're the only one claiming to be the nation of freedom. Canada doesn't have a place like Guantanamo. France doesn't try to oblige things like the SOPA to other countries. Argentina doesn't go to war and control other government in order to pass pipelines and oil. Australia doesn't torture prisoners, at least not that we know but any country could do that and no one would know. But USA have Guantanamo, tried to pass SOPA, control governments in some Middle East countries, we have knowledge of USA agents torturing prisoners in Iraq. How's this freedom, seriously?

  10. Hey, I just want people to be able to marry whoever they want. That's not really too much to ask.

  11. Proud to live in America and be part American and get a taste of the big apple and eat a chunk of America [IMG]ifwe accept gay marriage there will be much more crime I support but if I don't like America for one reason and won't foresee the good then u can get leave America no need to mak a thread

  12. Peeta, we're not focusing on countries like Iran or North Korea because they don't claim to be the nation of freedom and rights.

  13. Lol... everybody wants rights and everyone wants perfection. The only reason your complaining right now is because you just like complaining. There are nations where people are persecuted for god sakes why don't you go try to improve those instead of complaining.

Bottom line complaining doesn't solve things...acting on it does.

  14. We can do both, can't we?

  15. Vendetta, if you're going to mock others' grammar, correct yours.

  16. How about not writing essays and keeping things short first of all

  17. Sometimes lots of words are needed to get a point across. It's just how languages work.

  18. I've never been good with that. And instead of making hundreds of small posts, I wrote some longer ones that answer more questions/remarks at a time.
