And then I explained how I was still on topic. Sometimes mods don't see where I'm coming from at first. And it's okay, I am kinda a bigot. I'll own it. We all are in this current polarized society. I don't care who anybody fücks. I do care when people try to force this shït down people's throats, especially impressionable youths. Not everyone accepts it. It shouldn't be celebrated and flanted, heterosexuality isn't. Ik this game is 17+ but being an adult isn't like you magically wake up with a wealth of knowledge. Most people are just starting to find their path in life at this age, why must this be flanted in their face? My beef is truly with ata for this Bs promo. What good is an idea if you no one is allowed to argue the other side. It should be able to hold it's own weight. And if this game were truly fair and balanced we'd be celebrating heterosexuality also.
We can argue though. Modernism's coming back. Big Postmodernist powerhouses have been called out for their attempts to control, and the forums are opening up... shame about Tommy Robinson, though.
The last hunt was a spin off of the Royal wedding. It had nothing to do with celebrating heterosexuality and everything to do with jumping on the hype train that the media was spinning. PS everyone should watch the bad lip reading of the Royal wedding. It's really funny
It is a shame, but it's good that it's finally opening some people's eyes to the corrupt police state trying to take over the world. He's sorta like a martyr that hasn't died yet. He very well may though. He even started a fight to get put in solidarity confinement because they refused to put him under protection. The UK will have a real mess on their hands if Tommy dies in prison
BLR's are generally unbelievable, and the dialogue is random and disjointed. That channel just make content surrounding popular events but botch the execution. You'll find better BLR's about less-viewed events elsewhere.
In what way can a hunt celebrate heterosexuality? Avis wearing shirts that say "let's get one thing gay, I'm not?" I'm all ears.
It was still entirely heterosèxual, but god forbid people of other orientations get some time? A single month is just faaaaaar too much, I guess! Whether it’s about the wedding or not, it was still entirely one sèxuality.
LGBT Pride has less to do with celebrating LGBT identities and more about: ▪Memorializing those lost to hate crimes ▪Memorializing those lost to HIV/AIDS ▪Activism and education for LGBT rights ▪Remembrance of the Stonewall Riots ▪Sharing the history and impact of the LGBT community Yes, celebrating one's identity is a part of pride, but it isn't the sole reason it existed and it is not one of the initial reasons for why Pride was created. Pride was originally started after the Stonewall Riots, which was a result of homophobic and transphobic police brutality at the Stonewall Inn after officers harassed the LGBT patrons. You are more then welcome to send a ticket to ATA requesting a Straight Pride celebration hunt or items. But you can advocate for Straight Pride without trampling on LGBT Pride.
"It's okay to be straight" "Heterosexual and proud!" "Abortion is murder" "Trump 2020" We could have a whole conservative hunt. It's be equally triggering to the left as this promo is the the right.
This isn’t a liberal hunt. This is an lgbt hunt. There’s a difference. Liberals can decidedly not support some lgbt, and conservatives can decidedly support some lgbt. It has nothing to do with being liberal or conservative, only representation for very real things that need to be shown, supported, and spoken about.
@firebands I don't think you grasp how upsetting this promo is to the right leaning folks. We do not believe this should be flaunted in front of impressionable youths. Imagine a hunt advocating for all the babies murdered by abortion. How would that go over?
It has become a partisan issue over the last few years. Have you not been paying attention? The right's base is religious God fearing folks. We do not accept this as okay.
I’m extremely queer and I have very religious and conservative friends. Can you guess why? It’s because we respect each other and know that beliefs do not have to be set in stone and completely unmoving. They know lgbt people, people they might not always understand or entirely agree with, exist, and they know they have to learn to acknowledge and live with it. That’s how the world works. Queer people deserve equal representation. We’re still people.
I'm allowed to express my options of this thread on this thread. For all you know I have already complained to ata. This thread is garbage and these ideas should not be pushed on the age range this app appeals to.
