What’s done is done. Let’s move on from the mess of a debate and pay attention to just spreading knowledge and love during pride. ?
Ya a idiot Pansexual is the aspect of personality over gender Bisexual is the attraction to male and female Pansexuals dont care what you are just for how your personality is
Unpopular opinion: words marked as a "slur" are only so when people use them in that way. If someone uses that word in what they assume is a normal way and you take offense to it instantly, then you gotta be less sensitive.
pansexual is attraction regardless of gender bisexual is attracting to two OR MORE genders so while i don’t necessarily agree with the fact than pansexuality “doesn’t count” or “is just bisexuality” they are similar. and bisexuality is not inherently exclusive to trans or nb people.
or, consider this for a moment, you could just respect people by not using words that are commonly used to demean and dehumanize them ?
Or, consider this for a moment, some people are unaware that they are insulting words because some people were brought up around different people who may not have used such words in a negative way. What might be insulting to some people isn't necessarily insulting to everyone. Everybody can take offense to everything if they so wish, because people are too damn sensitive.
the fact that not everyone knows that these terms are offensive is part of the point of this thread. if you choose to continue to use hurtful words in a public context once you know, then the repercussions are yours to deal with. i’m not sure what else to say. people are allowed to be sensitive to words that are used to hurt them, and it’s not hard to just stop using a word that does that. it’s really very simple.
Instead of marking words as "offensive" and giving people verbal ammo to use to insult people, why can't we learn to just accept that that's just what we are. And I'm not just talking about the things mentioned in this thread now, this covers everything. If you tell people that a word is offensive, that will only increase its use to offend people. I don't understand this culture of getting offended easily that exists.
