This is something I'm not educated in, but am definitely interested in learning more about. My actual opinion on them? Based on what I've seen in the media as well as my friends who have been in them, my opinion is quite poor. I view them as something only higher middle class and rich kids have the luxury of doing. I view them as elitist classist sects. And why the hell is everyone I've seen in one so damn pretty?!? So there's my ignorant opinion. I'd be happy to read a thread with more information.
To a51- Greek life started as a small club with a group of friends. Make an initiative and impact your community by taking that first step.
So what you're saying is, I'd i join a sorority I'll automatically become pretty, have automatic friends, a sweet place to live, fun activities to do, parties to go to, life long amazing connections, and opportunities to get involved and make a difference! I'm totally sold.
